This fully renovated 2BR/2BA home is in Louisville’s centrally located Schnitzelburg neighborhood. It’s a vibrant community known for the historic homes, locally owned restaurants, quirky shops & dog-friendly breweries.

Our home was thoughtfully designed to make everyone comfortable- including a fully equipped kitchen & charming fully-fenced backyard- built for grilling and lounging with friends. Both bedrooms feature queen beds. There is a desk space for remote work in one bedroom.

You will have full access to the house, backyard and parking pad, which can fit 3 cars.

No matter what brings you to our city, you will be less than 10 minutes from our area’s favorite attractions.

2 of us from work stayed at the house while visiting Louisville for the GIE at the Louisville Convention Center. Plenty of room for 2 of us and enjoyed having separate bathrooms. Would be a good place for small family also. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first but had no problems at all. Back door was a tad hard getting into the first time but once we figured it out gave us no more problems.

We really enjoy staying at this property. We're in the area several times a year, and this is always our first choice for our stay! Fully fenced backyard is great for the pups and the couch with built-in recliners is very nice for relaxing at the end of the day. Clean, pet-friendly, lots of places to eat very close by. We look forward to our next stay!

Had everything needed for a vacation from out of state. Happy to have a fenced backyard for the dogs! Could have used some airfresheners sine it was too hot to air the house out, smelled dusty. Was disappointed that we had to move a pile of brush from the parking area in order to utilize it.

Get Location

Home was close to all attractions, derby, slugger museum, lots of great local restaurants, shops and brewery’s. Home was wonderful, beds were comfortable, would stay again.

We had a great 2-night stay at this lovely home in Louisville. The location was perfect – close to the downtown area. Communication with the owner was excellent; they were responsive and helpful throughout. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Our second stay in this home. We love it here. The location is fantastic, so many GREAT local restaurants within walking distance. Love having the yard too. We'll always look to stay here when we're in the area. It's exactly as pictured, and everything has gone smoothly each time we've stayed.

Great family home in a safe neighborhood

We had a great stay with our family of 4 and the dog. The fenced in yard was perfect for the kids and dog to play. The neighborhood felt safe to walk the dog. The host was very responsive. The only downside was there was no cable, local channels or movies on rainy days unless you have your own personal streaming service (which we don't). Overall, I would stay again.

A master class in how to VRBO

This house was perfect. Everything looked exactly like the photos, which is always a good start. The house was extremely clean and the furniture was comfortable. The closets provided plenty of space to both hang clothes and store folded clothing on the shelves. The back yard was perfect, our dogs were in heaven - and I would like to thank all previous guests and the host, because the yard was complete free from dog poo when we got there (and when we left lol).Host is super responsive as well. We can't wait to stay at this house again!

Very clean!

The house is clean and well stocked. We were a little disappointed that there was not a place indoors to eat, but that is minor. The property is located close to downtown and Churchill e.

Review of stay

The bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were pretty clean, however the porch could use a bit of cleaning. There was a good selection of kitchen items. It would have been great to have something to clean the grill off with though, so that we could use it. There was a good supply of bedding and towels, except the towels smelled smoky. We would have liked to wash them, but there was no laundry detergent to do so with, so we just made do. A few lightbulbs could be replaced that are out.

Louisville on Main Street

Location was easily accessible to Main St. and other areas of interest. Brought the pups with and they enjoyed the yard, barbecued and had a wonderful time. Host was immediately responsive to our questions.

Awesome place for the Derby

The house was perfect for us! We really appreciated the welcome basket. Back yard and front porch hangout spots were perfect for us. Kitchen and house very well stocked and equipped.

Louisville Gem

The property was very clean and is located in an up-and-coming area. It was close to the airport, which was key when our friends flight was delayed, and they arrived very early the next morning. We used the outside area to grill one evening, and the living room was perfect for our small group to hang out in at night. It was also close to everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
