Evanston Historic Italianate - Walk to the Beach, 20 min to downtown Chicago!
Fully renovated in 2022, this Historic District, 150 year old home was designed for modern family living while preserving the architectural significance of the 19th century. Custom chef's kitchen, luxury master suite w/ king bed, streaming channels, 2nd fl den with additional TV, large yard, alfresco dining, firepit, outdoor theater, brand new garage with gym & rec space with a multigame table. 4 short blocks to beach, walk to shops, 5 mins to Northwestern, 20 mins to downtown Chicago!
Evanston's Lakeshore Historic District is located at the shore of Lake Michigan. Our home is 4 short blocks away from South Boulevard Beach. We also have 4 parks within a 2 block radius of our home! South Blvd. "L" station is 3 blocks away and Main St. "L" and Metra stations are .4 miles away. Main street is also home to many restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance. For a quick shopping trip, Walgreens is 1.5 blocks away.
You will have 2 private, covered parking spots in our garage. There is plenty of street parking but please refer to Evanston's street cleaning schedule in order to avoid getting a parking ticket. We will also include the schedule in the House Manual.
Please note that for security reasons, we have 3 outdoor cameras pointed at and recording the following:
- Above the front doors recording the front porch, the front yard and a bit of the sidewalk and parkway.
- Above the back door recording the back staircase and door.
- Next to the back door recording the West section of the backyard and garage.
Tampering with the cameras in any way will be cause for booking cancellation.

Married for 18 years with 3 kids, we spent our 20s seeing the world and since then, adulting! When not working on our house, Joel works in sales. Rada was in fashion for 20 years and co-owns a bridal shop. Wishing to show our kids the world, we are opening up our home to guests seeking time with friends and family in a one of kind home. We work really hard to make sure that our home and the amenities are perfect for a memorable stay in Evanston.

Our home was built in 1872 and although recently renovated, we've worked really hard to preserve its history. From the original fireplace mantle, to the window and door casings and all of the interior doors, the home embraces its past while offering the comforts of today. One of our favorite features is our yard. We offer so many different ways to enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're dining at our antique farmtable, relaxing around the firepit, catching some rays on the lounge set, or playing badminton on the grass, there are endless outdoor possibilities. We also have a brand new indoor/outdoor rec room and a home gym attached to the garage. Every space, indoor and out, has been carefully curated not only in design but in function to guarantee the best possible vacation experience!
