Cozy cabin close to Cave Run, bordering the Daniel Boone National Forest

Nestled in the hills near Cave Run Lake, this cabin has everything you'll need to really relax and enjoy your time away. Only 10 minutes away from Bangor Boat Ramp and Longbow Marina on Cave Run Lake. Great news for all those Muskie Anglers looking for a short trip to the waters edge! Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge are about a 45 minute drive. The large deck and fire pit are great for entertaining outside. The unique interior feels very comforting when enjoying views out into the forest or spending time relaxing on the pull-out couch. A Smart TV and Wifi will keep you in touch with the outside world, while keeping the kids entertained on rainy days. Come see why our family fell in love with this little slice of heaven. The cabin is not located in a tourist area so there are no restaurants close by. We have a fully equipped kitchen and a charcoal grill outside.

Please note that there is a steep gravel driveway to get to the cabin however, we have had no issues navigating with our mini-van.

You will encounter wildlife during your stay. Carpenter bees, wasps, lizards, spiders, opossums, toads, turtles, and ticks are all common in warm weather. It is expected that some of these crawlers will make their way into the cabin and this is not grounds for a refund - it is simply part of cabin life.

For your protection and ours, the cabin is monitored 24/7 for fire and water indoors and there is motion activated video/audio recording at driveway. We use this for check-in and check-out purposes as well as ensuring your safety during your stay.

If there is an active burn ban due to weather or wildfire season, use of the fire pit outside is prohibited. We will let you know at check-in if there is an active burn ban for the area. This will not be grounds for a refund. We love a campfire but do not want to risk the safety of our neighbors or the Daniel Boone National Forest.
