About this space
Beautiful 4 season cabin right on Birch Lake which comes with 105 feet of lakeshore to enjoy with family/friends. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on the chairs in backyard while taking in beautiful lake views or take the stairs down to dock to enjoy water access.

The space
Spacious 3 bedrooms, 1 bath (yes we wish there were more) cabin located in the peaceful city of Babbitt, MN is the perfect location for a getaway you surely need. Enjoy the beautiful view of Birch Lake from the bedroom, family room, and backyard!

On the day of arrival, you will be provided with a code for easy check-in. This Birch Lake Cabin has 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom will have 2 twin beds, the second with one twin on a full bunk bed and the master bedroom has a queen bed. The living room sofa is a sofa sleeper that can accommodate a six-foot person easily. There is a foldable bed/sofa as well for additional sleeping space. Kids can spread on very plush carpet flooring as well if needed.

The kitchen will be stocked with all you need to cook and bake. Dinnerware for eight people is provided along with the appropriate silverware.

The family room has an L-shaped sofa, a foldable sofa. 55 inch TV, books, and family games to enjoy. We hope to have internet available soon but do not have it at this moment.

Welcome! Our goal is to make sure you feel at ease at home and pampered. Many amenities are geared towards that. We ask you to do things to keep the place clean, keep you and us safe, but not too much to make it look like chores. We have a few essential rules in place.

-No guests that are not listed on the reservation.

Very spacious and clean house and property. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room! Kids loved the beach and playground just a couple of blocks away.

Nice location, clean lake, quiet area. The house could use some TLC as well as the steps to the lake. There was no dock like it stated but the access is close fortunately. Overall the trip was good.

House in Babbitt

Enjoyed our stay. House could use some updating. Lots of stairs to lake. Use of kayaks was a plus. Nice sand bottom lake.

Birch Lake home

Great property and location. Due to high water levels the dock was missing some deck panels and was unusable, a little heads up would have been nice, fortunately the public launch was nearby, the grill was also unusable due to a large anthill inside of it and some of the living room furniture was in poor shape, but overall a good experience, these things are easily remedied.

A view from above

This is a nice place to stay on the lake, you must be able to walk up and down stairs. Two bathrooms would be great but we made by with the one. The water is excellent! Hot,clean,no smells at all!! The beds are comfortable and clean. The front and back yard needed spring cleaning and our group of guys would be glad to clean up the property outside for 2 nights stay next spring. Contact me if interested, you wont be disappointed.

Great location with very adequate housing

The location was gorgeous--up a steep but sturdy LONG staircase from the lake. We went mostly to be on the water. My husband rented a boat from a nearby resort and we were allowed to tie it up to our dock and keep it for the days we were there. NOTE: The dock system is NOT complete and tying up there was NOT easy, but we figured out a way. We rented a canoe from the same resort and also kept it there--there was a nice (very) little sandy beach to beach it on. Good point for all water activities: Sand, not rocks, and also not many weeds. The fishing was great, which was the main activity we were interested in. As far as the house goes, it was older and could use some sprucing up, but it was clean. No wifi, but we were told that in the listing. Beds were comfortable; couches and futon were not. We were a party of 8, which is the capacity of the house. Please be aware that all of the pots and pans were small. If you are a larger party, you would do well to bring some larger pots. We had to make macaroni in two shifts because there was not a large enough pot. We were also unable to get the toaster to work. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and the house was very adequate for our needs. Might or might not stay again.
