Walk or bike to Mayfaire Town Center for restaurants, shopping and movie theatre. Drift Coffee and Starbucks are also walking and biking distance. The city biking trail is right down the street. This 3 bedroom home has just been remodeled with the latest craftsman coastal flair. You will love the private fenced in backyard with patio and firepit to make lasting memories. There is an attached efficiency where the guests share the driveway.

We had a lovely one-night stay in this newly renovated, spacious, comfortable home located in a quiet residential neighborhood near many Wilmington amenities. The beds and couch were comfortable like a home. The kitchen had everything needed if you'd like to cook. The host was also very prompt and responsive, friendly, and welcoming.

A Home Away from Home

Everything about this property was wonderful…clean, beautiful, comfortable, close to everything. Our host provided all that we needed to enjoy our holiday. When visiting Wilmington we will always see if Farmers House is available! Thank you for everything!

Clean comfortable stay

The house was a great place to spend time with family with the open floor plan and back yard. It was a fun location for our 2 year old to run around, and even our 10 month old got to enjoy the outdoors! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Thank you for a great meeting place during a tough time

Ironman 70.3 Wilmington

Our family went to Wilmington to cheer on our son in the half Ironman. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to make him dinner, comfortable to hang out and rest before and after the race, and it was clean. The location was perfect to get to and from downtown Wilmington, as well as Wrightsville. It was perfect!

Perfect Place to Land

Was in town for just one night and booked late. Jennifer was quick to accept our request and to communicate the details. House is beautiful. Just like the pictures. Comfortable and quiet. Could easily stay there for a longer period of time and will definitely stay there again if the need arises. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property

We stayed in the Farmer's house for the week of the 4th of July, and we could not be happier with our stay. The location was so accessible to the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, and we loved the private driveway for both our cars. The house was well-equipped and well kept, and updated throughout. The only few bumps we encounter are the check-in, uniform private tenant, and AC in one of the bedrooms. We were very appreciative of the time allocated to store food in the fridge before check-in as we came from a 6 hr drive and were worried about the food we brought going bad with the heat. But we waited in the car to check in thoroughly because the cleaning process of the house was entirely done. Though we experienced a little delay with the check-in, we were thankful for allowing us to stay an hour late after check-in. The second thing that we have concerns about is that we should have been informed ahead of time that there was a tenant on the other side of the house. This was not a big deal, but we hoped this was mentioned. Lastly, the AC in one of the bedrooms was not working correctly the day we arrived, and it was very warm in the room until our last day. The owner called service immediately, but it needed to be fixed as we had hoped. Despite the few bumps, we highly recommend this property, and we are thankful that the owner was very prompt with communication throughout our stay.
