Welcome to Lakeside Paradise! This beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 &1/2 bath is located lake front on Lake Freeman. This is the perfect place for large families to get away, relax, and enjoy lake life. The open floor plan is great for indoor and outdoor entertaining. It has a newly furnished large kitchen with a 12 person table and large island for all to enjoy. The multi level home has space for everyone. There is an outdoor porch with a grill, 12 person covered table, and plenty of lake views. There is something for everyone here. Take a swim in the lake, sun bath on the top dock, fish off the dock, take a trip out on the kayaks, make s'mores around the fire pit, or sit on the deck with a good book. You will make memories to last a lifetime!

Everything about this property is amazing! It is well-maintained and is perfectly located directly across the lake from the marina, making docking your personal boat (if you have one) a breeze. It is very spacious, both inside and outside, with plenty of seating. The host was great and way to communicate with and we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment at this beautiful property. Check in was extremely smooth and communication with our host was very responsive and easy. The house was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything you needed, the downstairs had a variety of board games for family fun, tv had every channel known to man, and the beds and layout were great. The dock attached to the property was such a nice bonus because it allowed us to be right on the water and enjoy the early morning sunrises and sunsets. Everything was great and my family and I regretted only booking 3 nights. We look forward to our next visit!

Modern Lakehouse on Lake Freeman. Located on a steep bluff, with stairs to a great double deck dock. Large spaces and tables to accommodate families.

Fabulous Stay

There were 16 family members in our group ranging from 1 year to grandparents. The home had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us to eat together and also play games. Our host was super responsive with any question I had. The dock and lake access was lovely. We would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful views!

Family members stayed here for Purdue graduation weekend. The house was clean and well equipped. There was plenty of room to spread out, it was peaceful and the views were beautiful. Would stay there again for sure! Thank you!

College reunion - yearly lake weekend

The house is beautifully updated and super spacious. Kitchen is huge with lots of seating inside and out and also well stocked. We loved floating in the lake, enjoyed the upper deck for sunning and socializing and the firepit at night was great. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for guest. We would love to come back!

Lakeside paradise

This lakeside home was amazing! Lots of space for our whole family to eat together and hang out. There were lots of toys and games for the kids. The dock was great for fishing and we swam every day. We loved using the kayaks! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. I would highly recommend staying here!

Family fun

The house is fantastic! The owners were very helpful and answered our questiins quickly. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the double deck out back was a huge hit with our 9 grandkids. The kayaks and canoe added to the fun and the firepit was great for smores. We highly recommend this house!!!!

Family Reunion 2024

It was difficult to find a home on Lake Freeman to house our large family. This home fit our needs perfectly. The home is beautiful and to have 2 tables that each seat 12 persons is amazing. Thank you to Jennifer and Aaron for being the perfect hosts.

Great Spot

We had 13 extended family members for 6 nights. The house was great. Up to date, well stocked, and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The Traeger grill was fun - easy to use, delicious BBQ! Plenty of options for eating meals indoors or out on the patio. Can't say enough about how wonderful of a time we had.

Fantastic

Property was exactly as described. Lots of space for our group of 16. Great access to the lake for swimming and kayaking. Lots of things for the little ones to do, games, books and even a water table on the deck. Comfy beds, very clean and well maintained. Just an FYI, not recommended if you have disabled or elderly in your group. Sloped driveway and lots of steps but manageable! Overall we had a fantastic time and would for sure stay there again!

Very Nice Vacation Home

Our stay at Lakeside Paradise was wonderful. The home was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. In addition, the house was very roomy and accommodated our family including 6 adults and 2 grandchildren perfectly, they even had a good collection of toys for our grandchildren. The dock was really nice and we were able to dock our fishing boat there during our stay (boat launch was about 3 miles away). On our last night there, severe weather was on the way and Aaron (owner) checked in with us to be sure we knew of the incoming severe weather and where the flashlights and things were in case we needed them. Communication was excellent and my questions were always answered quickly. We would stay at this property again when in the area!

Great visit for Purdue Commencement weekend

Just returned from an amazing stay at this Monticello home directly on Lake Freeman. Beautifully decorated with all the necessities. Main floor king room comfy and easily accessible from main entrance. (only complaint was no closet or place to hang dress clothing on) Upper bedrooms have plenty of room and great bath as well. Son loved the separate space in lower level family room apart from his parents on the main level. Lake side decks and large table area off kitchen provided no shortage of places to enjoy the view. Especially grateful for the hosts quick response when we couldn’t locate PFD for going out to use the kayak and SUPSo much more enjoyable (and cost effective) than trying to rent 3 rooms in West Lafayette for commencement weekend. Highly recommend this home if you’re in the area.

Stayed five nights in May for our youngest son’s graduation at Purdue. Ideal location for a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the occasion - approximately 30 minute drive from campus while affording the opportunity to relax in an immaculately upgraded house in a truly spectacular setting. Comfortably accommodated a group of ten with plenty of space to spread out and congregate, both inside and outside on the various terraces. Comprehensively equipped kitchen with latest appliances was ideal for family meal preparations while there are several excellent restaurant and grocery-shopping options in the Monticello area. Plenty of water toys provided by the host for entertainment on Lake Freeman and an early morning kayak across the lake is an ideal way to start your day. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve booked it again for next year!
