Your own slice of lakeside paradise! Nestled in the towering White Pines, find the cozy cottage with beautiful lake views. This is a one of a kind lake frontage. Well over 100 feet of hard shoreline, almost beach like! Gradual walkout to deeper swimming water or the floating raft!
You will NOT believe how beautiful this lake is. Stratton is a glacially formed, spring fed lake. It is So clear and stunning blue-green coloring, you will think you are in the Caribbean! Enjoy relaxing by the water and bonfires at night, sunset views plus amazing star gazing. Bring your boat for fishing, skiing and tubing. Cute kitchen with all of the amenities for indoor cooking, plus a great outdoor dining space with gas grill. Two fire pits (one by the house and one by the water) for smores or campfire cooking.
Located just a short drive from the Chain O' Lakes, Restaurants and Hartman's Creek State Park. Close to the adorable downtown Waupaca area filled with must see shops.

Small dogs considered. Pontoon rental available for $600 per week subject to availability!

Amazing place

We stayed here for a week and had the best time. We have kids that range from 2 to 12 and all had blast. The house was just like the pictures and more!

Incredibly cozy, chic and comfy. All that you need in the property was there. Temperature was perfect, 2 bathrooms helpful. Kids enjoyed fishing paddle boat and paddle boards were highlight. Definitely coming back

This beautiful lakeside cottage did not disappoint. Our family had a wonderful time and we enjoyed all offerings from the lovely water, to the lakeside fires to the amazing fishing from the dock. The host was very friendly and provided great communication.

Everything was perfect!

Our stay was amazing! The house and lake looked just as beautiful as it did in the pictures. The lake and surrounding areas were wonderful! We decided to rent the pontoon and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. I'd recommend this rental to everyone!

We had such a wonderful time!! The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. We loved watching the sunset. The house had everything we needed and so many small touches that made the trip even better. The hosts were amazing and incredibly responsive to all of my questions. We would love to come back!!! It was the perfect vacation.

Gorgeous Location

Beautiful location! Love the Towering Pines and the Wonderful Lake - so clear, like looking at an Aquarium. The cottage was perfect - just the right size for us and visiting family. Enjoyed mornings on cute porch looking unto lake. We had awesome mid-September weather! The Paddle boards were fun. Super location - close to Chain and The Wheelhouse. Thanks for sharing another GREAT property with us and our dog, Hazel. We made wonderful new memories!

Gem On the Water

One of our best family vacations! The location and thoughtful touches of the property owners are incredible. The cabin is very clean and has all the amenities one needs, including kitchen items for cooking, access to laundry, and comfy beds. The design is simple, beautiful, and cozy. The property is quiet, and the lake is perfection - small, quiet, and great for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Don't miss Red Mill Cafe for ice cream, sandwiches and gifts, along with the owner's recommendations of "favorite activities" listed in the cabin. BYO coffee - many options! French press, drip, AND pour over! We can't wait to come back!

Amazing view of a beautiful lake

Cabin was very roomy, nicely decorated. Owner thought of every possible item needed. Even had supply of wood for campfires, beach towels, good quality paper products and numerous outside chairs. But the best thing was the view, pines all around, quiet and peaceful. Also the kids caught alot of fish! Loved it, highly recommend.

Wonderful Getaway Place. We never wanted to leave.

My family just returned home after the most amazing week of vacation. Caitlin’s home was so easy to stay at. She provided everything you could need. The home was very inviting and so incredibly clean. The lake is pure bliss. The water is so clear and the sandy bottom and shallow area around the dock was fantastic. Caitlin’s home is convenient to Waupaca with lots of tasty restaurants nearby when you don’t want to cook. We can’t wait to come back next year!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

I literally almost don’t want to post this review of fear I’ll build my competition pool but Caitlin and her home deserve all the praise in the world. ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING ! The location, the property, the town every detail ! This was the most incredible property I have ever stayed in. It was a not only blissful but beautiful. Every detail was perfection.

Up north feel

This is a nicely updated house on a very clear lake. There is a minor slope down to the frontage. The owners were very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. The whole place feels like it's way up north with those towering white pines.

Heart happiness

Lake and house were beautiful just like description. Was very peaceful. Loved all the different sitting areas We loved being dockside just enjoying the water. Our fur baby Lilly loved playing in the water. Scott fished every day. Caught a few bass. Waupaca is a cute town with good food and coffee shops. We will be back

Girls Birthday Getaway!

We had such an amazing stay. It was only one night but we made the most of it- from the fishing, to roasting hotdogs and s’mores, the paddle boards, TONS of games in the bunk room, we really utilized it all & had a great time!!! We really recommend Little Fat Gretchens’s for breakfast which is only 8 minutes from the cabin (was delicious definitely stop there!- It’s in a super cute downtown area which we explored on our way out. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating! The house has everything you need and it was extremely nice having two full-bathrooms with 5 female adults. 10/10 recommend we made such great memories!

Our family had the most wonderful stay (again!!) at the cottage. The house is super comfortable and impeccably clean. If you need it Caitlin has probably thought of it and has it at the house. The lake is super clear and the gradual walkout is such a plus. Love the sandy bottom. Caitlin is amazing! She’s super responsive if needed but gives you privacy otherwise. You couldn’t ask for a better host. The house is so convenient to Waupaca so you can easily pop over to Little Fat Gretchen’s for breakfast/lunch and shop downtown for lots of wonderful things. One year I hope we’re in town for the numerous activities Waupaca seems to host during the summer. It really doesn’t get better than this. It’s a little slice of heaven and I hope we get the chance to stay here every year for years to come.

Awesome getaway for the family

My family and I love camping and the outdoors BUT we also like having a cozy place to sleep. This place is such a great mix of both! My parents and I brought my grandmother with us to help her relax and I’m happy to say that it worked!!! The lake and the town are beautiful and the house is so nicely decorated! The beds are comfy and the towels are big and fluffy :). The place has more than enough supplies and kitchen necessities that we realized we overpacked! If you’re planning on coming, bring just your clothes, toiletries, and yourself! We are so happy we chose this place- we’ll be back next year for sure!!!

Fantastic getaway!

Our family of 4 stayed here as a last hurrah for summer vacation. Our kids are 8 and 12. The kids loved paddle boarding, fishing, swimming and wading in the shallow clear water on the sandy shoreline. My husband and I enjoyed the tranquility of the lake overall. There are specific hours on the lake where tubing/skiing are allowed, so all other times the lake was calm. We caught panfish, perch and a couple bass. Having central air to retreat to was fantastic. The house is equipped with anything you need to cook or grill. It is truly a gem of a property. The only downside was that the bunk bed was really creaky with any movement, so we pulled the pullout bed on the couch and they slept there. Not a huge deal. We loved the property overall. Lovely Home with a Beautiful ViewWe had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed home—everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. Although there are neighbors nearby, the setting was incredibly quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing getaway.My husband and I had to do a bit of work during our trip, so we really appreciated the strong and reliable internet connection.A few small things to note: the bed was quite soft, which might be uncomfortable for guests with back issues. Also, the bathroom sinks in both bathrooms were very compact—perfect for washing hands but not ideal for anything more. While the showers were nice and hot, the water pressure was on the lower side.That said, the highlights far outweighed the minor inconveniences. The lake was absolutely stunning—crystal clear and perfect for swimming. Our dog had a blast in the water, and my husband enjoyed catching a variety of fish. The sunsets were breathtaking, and we were lucky to have a perfect view of the strawberry moon.The host was extremely responsive and helpful, which made everything easy. Overall, this was a fantastic escape, and we’d definitely come back!
