Electrical components have been reviewed for reliability, and a new area rug has been installed to eliminate any trip hazard. However, I would like to clarify a few important points for accuracy: At no point did we advertise the home as handicapped accessible, nor did we receive any communication from you prior to your arrival regarding accessibility needs. Your booking request was submitted on February 2, 2024, and we did not hear from you again until your check-in day on July 8. That was our first conversation, during which you informed us the house wouldn’t work due to wheelchair access. At that time, we immediately agreed to issue a refund. We followed up with you multiple times afterward to find a suitable way to send the refund. You mentioned you did not have CashApp, Zelle, or Venmo. Eventually, on August 28, you provided your friend Amy’s Venmo account, and we sent the full amount of $419. Given that we did everything we could to resolve the situation promptly and respectfully, we are surprised by the review you've left. We understand you were traveling with individuals who have special needs, and we always strive to be as accommodating as possible. That said, it is essential that guests clearly communicate their requirements before booking, so we can assess whether the property is a good fit. We genuinely wish you the best and hope any future stays better meet your group’s needs.
