Right on the lake. Very comfortable for the 5 of us. There’s a dining room table that wasn’t in the photos but was a great bonus. The host was really nice & helpful. We fished, canoed & kayaked. Great fun!

Family vacation

Tim is an excellent host and responds quickly. The house was spacious enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. The a/c units in each room kept us nice and cool during the hot memorial weekend. The kiddos had a blast catching a bunch of fish, crappie, bluegill, and catfish.

Amazing stay on the lake

This was an amazing stay. We had everything available that we needed and a lots of ganes. The property was charming and the views are second to none. Tim was smazing!!! He answered all my silly questions with grace. It was memoranle and we saw fish abd a swan.

Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Misrepresented – Avoid This PropertyThis was hands-down the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. The house was filthy, with visible mold, bug infestations, and spiderwebs everywhere. Plumbing was a mess — the kitchen sink leaked constantly, and the dishwasher leaked onto the floor. Every bathroom window was completely see-through, offering zero privacy from neighbors. Doors were broken or wouldn’t lock, linen was dirty and smelled awful, and the place could only sleep 6 despite being advertised for 10. Traveling with four young kids, this was not just uncomfortable — it felt unsafe. VRBO should remove this listing immediately.

Wonderful stay on the lake

My family, including kids ranging from 10-17 spent a few days at this house. We have stayed at multiple houses at Clear Lake and the location and amenities of this house made it one of our favorite stays. The dock was great, kids LOVED the canoe and kayak, there was a hot tub and a ping pong table as well. Tim was a wonderful host and made sure all of our needs were met. Thank you so much Tim for hosting us for a wonderful mini vacation!

FUN GETAWAY

MY HUSBAND AND I HAD AN AMAZING TIME. HE LOVES TO FISH AND I LOVE TO RELAX. OUR SURROUNDING WERE GREAT!!! VERY NICE VIEW OVERLOOKS THE WATER!! MY HUSBAND CAUGHT SOME REALLY NICE FISH!!! SHOUT OUT TO THE HOST FOR BEING A TEXT AWAY!!!!

Amazing weekend getaway!

My friend and I decided to take our families on a weekend getaway. What more could we ask for! It was paradise for our hubbies and kids who LOVE to fish! The kayak and canoe came in handy for exploring what Clearlake has to offer. The view from sunrise to sunset was breathtaking and so beautiful and calming! Everything we needed was within driving distance- from grocery stores and coffee shops to stores for the necessities. The house was beautiful, clean and our host was so accommodating and helpful! And an enclosed gate was super helpful with our fur babies! We look forward to coming back here someday!

Nice Little Lake Getaway

We had a very nice stay with our 3 kids (4, 7, 9) and our dogs. Plenty of room for all of us, house was clean and very comfortable. Boys loved fishing off the deck and floating dock. We caught some nice sozed Bass, bluegills and a good sized catfish. Easy parking for our boat on the floating dock. Trailer parking a little tricky in the carport but definitely manageable and plenty of space. Kayak was nice, able to use it to free our catfish from the buoys, worked great. Owner was very helpful and attentive. Thanks for a great stay!!

We felt we gave the property owner the benefit of the doubt, but our stay was incredibly disappointing. The house was not clean upon arrival; we found dirty pots and pans, and trash was left in the bathrooms, and a dirty bathroom. The list of broken items is long and includes the patio furniture, umbrella, most things outside, kitchen utensils, and a kitchen supplies, the table, etc. The biggest issue, however, is the misleading advertisement. The listing claims the house sleeps 10 people, but there are not nearly enough beds. A 'double bed sofa' was listed but was not present. With our group of seven, someone was forced to sleep on the couch, leaving no room for an additional three people. The hot tub cover was broken, the kayak was missing, and many more. To make matters worse, the gas for the stove stopped working while we were cooking dinner for our family. The owner was completely unresponsive to our messages and calls for over 14 hours, only replying after we escalated the issue to the booking platform. This caused us to go without a working stove for two meals. The experience was far below expectations.

Owner tried to negotiate a discount for me to give a Good Review!

The location was great, but the property was not clean, and neighbors could see into the bathrooms and bedroom with no window coverings. We spent the first hour or so cleaning. The owner had mentioned that the previous guest had a party and had caused some damage and that the Wi-Fi was out. The toilet seat in the master bath did not fit and was broken, one mattress was old and not on a bed frame (the person that was to stay in that room left and paid to stay somewhere else). The comforters on the twin beds were not clean (we had to wash them). The floors were not cleaned so we swept them. The curtains on sliding doors to go to the patio were filthy. I have pictures to support all of this, but I don't see where they can be uploaded here. I shared my concerns and disappointment with the owner and requested a partial credit especially since it was so bad that some left. He told me he would give me a 50% discount on my next visit if I didn't leave a bad review. That was not acceptable I just wanted a partial credit for this stay because I would not go back. To make matters worse the owner made a fraudulent insurance claim for a new canoe! We never touched the canoe we brought our own bass tracker boat!
