Relax at this peaceful cabin retreat overlooking a beautiful 4 water acre spring fed pond & vegetable garden! Perfect for the entire family, a couples getaway or a girls weekend. This quaint cabin with modern amenities & beautiful decor has 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 people and 2.5 bathrooms. There are 2 large screened in porches that are perfect for your morning coffee or evening gatherings. The gorgeous kitchen with butcher block countertops is equipped with everything you need to cook a meal if you choose, but the location is also close enough to town to grab a bite at one of Laurel’s amazing restaurants! Perfect in every way ❤️

Absolutely beautiful! If you are thinking of booking - just do it! So clean and relaxing. Tracy was amazing to work with and went above and beyond for us. Things we enjoyed - the screened-in porches and listing to nature wake up each morning. We spotted the blue heron several times and it was fantastic to watch him. Star gazing at night was “out of this world”. The beds were all incredibly comfortable and the cabin was immaculate. It’s only minutes from the heart of Laurel where we enjoyed a day of shopping. We took a short drive to Seminary MS to an antique store and also Hattiesburg MS for more antiquing. One of our new favorite rentals for sure!

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful, Peaceful property. We enjoyed relaxing while sitting on the pier or screened porches. The entire cabin was wonderful. My entire family was pleased. Tracy is an excellent host!

Church Staff Retreat

We took some of our church staff to plan 2024 at Blue Heron. All I can say is impressive! I have used many VRBO listings and this host and property exceeded all expectations. I cannot wait to take some of my team again!

5 star weekend getaway!!

I booked this property on a weekend trip to Laurel, Ms. I really had no intention on fishing so I didn’t bring my own tackle. I did however try to drown a worm or two, once I realized that there was some tackle already there. Surprisingly the fishing was great! The property had exceeded my expectations and the host was wonderful. The trip to Laurel was good but the best part was staying at The Blue Heron Cove! The next time I want a getaway away with a little fishing I probably will book this for at least a week.

Wonderful stay!

Our week at Blue Heron Cove was perfect! It was just a few minutes from downtown Laurel in the beautiful Mississippi countryside. The house was adorably decorated & had every amenity we needed. We loved the screened porches - such a luxury for us city dwellers. And the guys loved fishing in the private lake out front. Thank you for providing the bait & fishing equipment. And thank you for all the snacks! Beds were very comfortable! Location was great! Every convenience provided! And Tracy - thank you so much for being the perfect host! Your many suggestions & tips & always replying promptly to our questions was much appreciated. You made our trip so relaxing & wonderful! We hope to return!

Hometown Run

The home and property are beautiful. I have stayed an several vacation rentals and this was by far the best. Everything one could need to stay was there. Although we didn't cook we would have had everything we needed if we had wanted to. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The property is a blissful quiet retreat. The host provided snacks, ice water, coffee, cocoa and tea. We were provided with eve we needed to fish. I wish we could have stayed longer. The host provided us with great suggestions for our visit to Laurel. We may be back again. On a whole the stay was a real blessing. Our host was great to communicate with

The BEST! Highly Recommended!

We had a magical and relaxing holiday at the Blue Heron. We truly felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The Blue Heron is beautiful and serene. The accommodations are perfect! The house has everything you could ever think of needing and more. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, lovely beds and so many nice extra touches. Absolutely gorgeous! Tracy is a wonderful host and was helpful throughout our stay. She made everything extra special. She surprised us with delicious treats and a charming keepsake. Our stay couldn’t have been more amazing. We can’t wait to come back and visit. I can't imagine calling anywhere else "home" when visiting beautiful Laurel, Mississippi. Thank you for everything!!

As advertised. Great off the road property! Check in was a little unique with everyone haveing to sign waivers in a mailbox and having to send a picture before you could get a door code.

If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, then Blue Heron is an excellent choice. The lake is beautiful and my family enjoyed fishing. We were able to watch a heron travel around the lake. Tracy is an excellent host and responded quickly to all of our questions. Thank you, Tracy, for allowing my family to stay in your cabin.
