Welcome to Your Beachfront Getaway for all seasons

Experience an exquisite coastal retreat at our waterfront home in Birch Bay, perfect for guests of all ages - and including your furry friends! Whether you're planning a cozy winter getaway or a vibrant summer vacation, this home is designed for comfort, relaxation, and year-round enjoyment.

Wake up to stunning bay views, sip coffee on the deck watching birds dive for their breakfast, and spend afternoons exploring tide pools or kayaking in the calm waters. Evenings invite you to explore the local cuisine or enjoy a delicious home cooked meal by the wood-burning stove; then gather around one of the outdoor fire pits under a star-filled sky.

Easy winter access from public areas just two doors down either way. Summer access right off the deck.

With all the comforts of home, including a fully stocked kitchen, onsite laundry, a variety of indoor and outdoor toys, and two work stations, our home is the perfect destination for gatherings of all kind.

Beautiful view from the beach which is very close to the property. Very responsive host when we had questions such as recommending a good restaurant not too far - CJ’s Beach House. We drove to Lynden and enjoyed the shops and art center. They had a good supply of games on hand and a large screen for viewing games and streaming movies.

Hearing the ocean roll in and out right under our deck was a peaceful and special experience. We hosted a family gathering to celebrate a family anniversary and this house was in an ideal location to enjoy our meals, beachcomb and relax - soaking up the views. It was a memorable weekend!

We loved the serenity of the house! Very apreciative that they allowed pets. We liked the location, so close to the park, but really didn't need to go anywhere to enjoy the waterfront. Fantastic sunsets!!!

The overall stay was great, the views were amazing and it was so nice to be right on the water. The propane fire pit on the porch was a nice touch. The location is perfect, walking distance to both the state park and the c shop! Giving a 3 star review because The home could improve on cleanliness. It was pretty dusty, pots and pans were filthy, and the floors seemed to be not cleaned before our stay. Thankfully a majority of the time was spent outside.

Best vacation ever

The house was just perfect. My sister and I brought my mom back to see our family before she is not able to travel anymore. We chose this house because my mom always loved to watch the water and walk on the beach and watch the beautiful sunsets. She had the best time and the smile and laughing made it all worth it.

Wonderful home

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home while visiting my daughter who’s attending WWU. The location was perfect for us. We loved the view and proximity to the ocean. It had everything we needed.

Grief healing

Happy to finally get to the beach!We initially rented this place for my husband's birthday and to recover from a Stem Cell transplant for his Lymphoma. Unfortunately, all did not go as planned and he went home to the Lord much earlier than expected. It was a great place for the family to heal. Beautiful area and wonderful restaurants.Please go. You wont be disappointed.

Incredible views! Cozy,beautiful,warm home with everything we needed to make this family vacation memorable! Thank you! Cozy and peaceful waterfront house

Family fun!

We loved spending low tide in the tidal pools and afterwards biking and exploring. The accommodation was beach casual and very comfortable. Our twin 15 year old and 12 year old were not bored for a minute. The water called to them every day, kayaking, exploring and even a scavenger hunt. Loved it

This beautiful home has been in the family for over 50 years - bought by my grandfather and moved onto the lot in 1960. I grew up spending time happy times here each summer. My first "date" at the age of about 10 was with a girl from Canada who also spent summers at the beach. And she is now my wife :) . Now it is a privilege to share the home and all it's charm with others! Reach out if you have any questions!

With the water receding most mornings to expose miles of beaches and tide flats, and returning each evening to lap at the deck retaining wall inviting a sunset kayak trip, Birch Bay is a nature-lover's wonderland. Whether your ideal vacation is sipping coffee on the deck enjoying the surrounding beauty, or donning your water shoes and exploring tide pools, Birch Bay is the perfect place!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Drive along the bay and you will notice only a handful of homes that are waterside - between the State Park and the C-Shop. We are fortunate to be able to offer guests one of those homes. Of all the beach-side homes, this one of the closest to the water and we sometimes call it the "closest thing to being on a boat". The waves lap against the seawall just below the deck most evenings. You literally look over the deck rail straight into the water. The waves are soft as it's a bay rather than the ocean - their rhythmic lapping lulls those in the front bedroom to sleep at night, and gently wakes them in the morning.
