Welcome to the Riverfront Retreat in Thompson Falls. Built in 2023, this home offers relaxation with over 180 degrees of peaceful riverfront views. This unforgettable getaway is nestled between a quiet city park (with paved sidewalk to public boat launch/swimming and recreational area) and downtown, making it the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience!

There are two kayaks with paddles ready to enjoy for all of our guests. We have two adult life jackets available for use. If you need any additional safety equipment, please pack accordingly!
*There is a security camera located at the front door of the property. This camera covers the front door and parking lot for safety and security purposes. This is the only security camera on the property.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location, right on the water! Exceptionally clean and cozy, with a well-stocked kitchen and delightful living room. Enjoyed hiking around the falls, grilling dinner by the river, and kayaking. Can't wait to visit again!

The Riverfront Retreat in Thompson Falls was adorable! We couldn't get over the amazing view. Was especially lovely gazing at the mountains, trees, lake, and bright starts in the sky. It was exactly as pictured - cute, clean, and well-stocked to provide everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Gem of a Stay

This house has everything you need tucked into a cozy space. Very hygge! The location on the Clark Fork is probably the best we've had when visiting Thompson Falls.

Spring Break Family Visit

We love the location and Thompson Falls. We can walk downtown and to the park. Love the water view and watching the animals - dear, ducks, bald eagle - so peaceful. Very clean and comfy.

Stunning Location

The host was very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing on the water with deer in the yard each day and tons of geese, ducks, and other birds in the river. The town is fun with everyone very friendly. Great walking trails in the town to the state park. Beautiful area saw moose, elk, and a grey wolf.

Beautiful location on the river

We were in TF to family before heading to Whitefish for the Gathering lacrosse tournement. The place was perfect my son and his friend fished the river while we enjoyed the view from the porch. Property was beautifully decorated, clean and comfy! Highly recommend

Amazing Stay

Located on the east end of Thompson Falls this delightful rental property overlooks a scenic reservoir. The newly built home is tastefully decorated and is stocked with amenities for every need. It definitely has a “wow factor!” The wrap around deck provides a vantage point for wildlife viewing and relaxing outdoors. The location is within walking distance to shops, eateries, parks and entertainment.

Family Get Together

Cute and cozy vacation rental - beautiful water view, enjoyed kayaking, watching the deer that would visit each morning and evening, and all the amenities. It was perfect for our family of four. Adorable decor. We enjoyed being able to walk to Minnie’s and to Island Park - such a beautiful area. Only downside is the train noise but not sure how you could avoid it anywhere in Thompson Falls. The hosts were very responsive! Highly recommend staying here if you get a chance!

Perfect!

The cabin on the river was a beautiful home base for us to spend five days exploring Western Montana. The home was exceptionally clean, and well equipped for all of our needs. It is bright and cozy. While it is right in the heart of town, when you settle in on the deck it is quiet and peaceful. We loved just sitting and watching the river and all of the birds/wildlife go by. Our hosts were consistently prompt in their communication from reservation to checkout. We can not wait to come back and visit again soon!!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this home over the weekend and it was a perfect getaway for the two of us! We found the property to be extremely clean and well-stocked with any items that we needed. The location was amazing! We had river views and access right out our window and were walking distance to downtown restaurants. Our favorite part was the covered deck that sits just steps above the beautiful Clark Fork River. We were tempted to take the kayaks out, but found ourselves to be perfectly content sitting and watching all of the wildlife. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be recommending to friends/family!

During my recent stay in Thompson Falls, MT, I enjoyed staying at a wonderful property that exceeded my expectations. A wonderful oasis for a hot weekend

We really enjoyed the beautiful, clean and cool home right on the water on a hot weekend. The host was gracious and helpful, and the place was impeccably clean. We spent lots of time on the water in the provided kayaks, and our own floats, and only wish there was easier access to the water. We didn’t realize the house is right off the highway and tracks, and near the outhouse of the restaurant next door, with no beach access (nearest access was at the boat ramp through the roadside public park). The waterfront in front of the house was soggy/reedy and full of mosquitoes. And even that was only a bit of a bummer because of the kids who would have loved to dip in/out more easily (and with less hauling/shuffling for the adults). All in all a very positive experience and a wonderful host, and a beautiful stay. Thank you!

Clean and well managed with a beautiful view

We love visiting Montana and this stay was no exception. The house was beautiful and gorgeous views. Decorations were tasteful. Kitchen was well stocked, refrigerator and dishwasher all worked. It was nice to have a washer n dryer. Internet works while in town which is convenient. Verizon doesn’t work so good in Montana. Att works best. Our host was so responsive and helped with all our questions. She thought of everything down to the black face clothes for makeup removal. How kind. The kids liked the loft and the bed was super comfortable (much appreciated by me since I have loads of health issues and needed the bed to be comfy. She had coffee k cups for coffee n all kinds of spices. So thoughtful. I will say the Ring door bell was a bit intrusive for our taste of privacy, since privacy is the reason we come to Montana vrs other areas. However , we do realize in todays behavior and lack of respect for others property we kinda understand why she had it. Over all we love the place and would totally come again if it’s available. Oh and we loved the Air condition. Super nice on those hot Montana days. Thanks so much for sharing your new home. We hope to come again soon.
