About this space
This fantastic "hideaway" is the perfect location for EVERYTHING in and around downtown Denton! It is literally steps from restaurants, bars, live music, activities, shops, food trucks, etc. You can't get closer to the action when you stay at the "Downtown Hideaway". The building was built in the 1920's and has be transformed into individual apartments, one-of-which is now the "Downtown Hideaway". This industrial/eclectic space is a treat for everyone!
The space
Guests have access to the entire unit and the permitted parking lot.

We were attending a family event on the Denton Square and were hoping to find something within walking distance. This met our needs perfectly. It’s a busy location but was very quiet inside. Property was clean and well equipped. My only criticism is that the mattresses weren’t my favorite, but we slept well anyway. Overall, it earned 5 stars.

We had a nice time!

We stayed at the property to be close to my daughter's dance competition at the convention center. It was in a good location and my family had a great time walking around the downtown area.

Location is impeccable. Everything was how it was described in the listing. Only thing we know now that we did not know was the parking. We loved it.

Sweet little place in the heart of Denton

We rented this space, traveling with our daughter who has mobility issues so she could attend Flight Week at UNT because her college apartment wasn't ready and it had very convenient access to the bus line. It was an extra bonus that she didn't have to navigate stairs and the bus drop off was right across the street from the unit's front door. The ceiling are low, but our family is short, so that wasn't an issue. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and the unit is well stocked with all the necessities for a home away from home space. It did get loud on weekend nights because of the live music from surrounding bars, but that's to be expected for the location. There are also only three windows on the entire unit,(all on the front), so if you are claustrophobic, that may be something to think about. Our daughter lived it because she was able to sleep in with the sun to wake her.

Like staying at a nice New York loft

We loved it! Be careful tall people, lol! It was exactly as pictured. There were a few amenities that were unexpected and We were pleasantly surprised. You could hear right outside the bustling activities, but it was quiet and peaceful when they closed.

Downtown Denton

Great location in the heart of Downtown Denton. Spacious property with lots of character close to restaurants and some retro shops. Had an issue with code that was immediately addressed.AC worked great.Unfortunately the unit had dirty floors and a terrible odor in the kitchen. The listing states that there are two bathrooms, but in actuality there is a toilet room and a shower room. The unit is also located next to bars that have live music until midnight on the weekends. Not great if you need to turn in early.

Amazing!

Very close to a ton of restaurants, coffee shops and things to do in downtown Denton! Lots of love music all around! Me and my sister throughly enjoyed our stay! We spent the weekend walking to all the coffee shops, eating at some of the restaurants and shopping at all the cute local shops!!

Fun place!

We stayed here 2 nights for my daughter’s sweet 16 along with some of her friends. The house is really cute and fun and unique. The ceilings were very low but it added character. The parking in back is great! They provided anything you need as far as toiletries and soaps etc. The host responded quickly when messaged and they let us in early to decorate and leave a little late. The location is PERFECT for walking the downtown square. The beds were comfy with plenty of space for lots of sleepers. The only negative thing I have to say is that it could have been a little cleaner…the shower, smudges on the doorframe, dusty red couch, soaking wet floor mat in bathroom…as well as some updates and improvements on construction such as ceiling and walls, paint/stains on walls, etc. it could use a touch up. Also I felt the ad was a little misleading in regards to the bathroom…there is ONE toilet and ONE shower. Not 2 bathrooms. Overall it was really fun and the girls had a blast! We would stay here again.

Great location in Denton

We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked this for the location to downtown Denton. We really enjoyed being able to walk to all the restaurants and coffee shops. Beds was comfortable. We had an issue with hot water that was very quickly resolved.
