Welcome to The Cottage at the Falls. Come experience a cascading 70-foot waterfall in your front yard! This is a 3-bedroom, open floor plan with an expansive outdoor patio for entertaining, barbecuing, walking trails, catch and release fishing, sightseeing and the best family time ever.
Less than 10 min from the Kettle Falls Marina, minutes from the town of Kettle Falls with amenities. Experience a taste of history by staying in a historic district. This is the oldest continuously operated water power sight west of the Mississippi. This is a hydroelectric project site with two visible powerhouses on the property.

Nice stay

Lovely place. Had grandchildren and great grandchildren visit . House is very well equipped and very comfortable. The waterfall was outstanding! Kids were able to do some swimming and a little trout fishing. Would love to come back!

4th of July getaway

The Cottage and waterfall were both amazing, and had everything my family needed for our stay over the long weekend. The history of the adjacent powerplant is very interesting. Our host was very accommodating, and we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Stay

The location was better than we expected! Home had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Host provided excellence instructions, making check in smooth. We really enjoyed the large yard and beautiful waterfall. Would definitely recommend.

Waterfall sanctuary

This property is very cute and private. All the beds were comfortable and the house was well appointed. The hosts were incredible attentive and accommodating, we had a very nice time. I highly recommend this property it’s a gem.

Stunning Water Fall

My husband and I stayed for three nights. The home was very clean and comfortable. The water fall was so amazing right there in the front yard with wildlife all around us. My husband was able to get a small tour of the water fall machinery which made the trip very special. I would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful

It was a perfect relaxing place. It was amazing waking up to that waterfall every morning and drinking coffee in the little kitchen nook. We got to meet Ben was very nice showed John around the hydroelectric building. It was the perfect location for everything that we needed.

Perfect Lake Roosevelt Stay

Our family had an amazing time at Kristine’s property. The house was immaculately clean and meticulously cared for. We loved the house’s proximity to the boat launch, the serene waterfall in the back yard, and the spacious patio with barbecue. We greatly appreciated the host’s responsiveness and kindness. We will definitely be back next year!

Kettle Falls Cottage

My wife and I stayed in the Cottage at the Falls for 3 nights while in the area to visit our own piece of property near by. What a great find. The cottage was clean, fully outfitted and very comfortable. The property is very beautiful, private and unique with the Falls providing a constant soothing background noise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate you sharing this cottage.

Beautiful, Comfortable and Super Clean!

We really enjoyed our stay near the waterfall. So pretty and we saw deer, quail, turkeys, swallows, a great blue heron and also a kingfisher getting his breakfast from the river! Our bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Everything was spotless and the grounds are well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a very unique experience in the heart of nature.

Waterfall!

It’s amazing to have a waterfall in the front yard. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed and furniture were comfortable inside and out. The property has an interesting history explained at a small park at the head of the drive. The owners were very accommodating to our curiosity and questions. The property is quite beautiful. We saw deer, turkey and lots of songbirds. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if we are in the area again.

Secluded and Serene

The property was exactly as described. Waterfall and property was beautiful. If it wasn’t for the random heatwave that came through, we could have spent most of our time sitting outside. Kristine’s communication was excellent as she responded to all messages within 20 minutes, and was able to answer all of our questions.

Uniquely Wonderful

Kristine and her husband were wonderful hosts and have done an incredible job renovating this historic old home. The house sits on the Colville River no more than a hundred feet from the base of Meyers Falls. The view of the falls from the dining room is stunning, and the patio is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee while letting your mind wander as you take in the view and the sound of the falls. We highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants solitude while being only five minutes from the town of Kettle Falls.

Amazing setting!

We just returned from the Cottage at the Falls and had a wonderful relaxing time! When we arrived there were pastries waiting for us in the kitchen! Very nice touch! The cottage was bright, welcoming and very clean. We spent our time enjoying this peaceful cottage environment with views of the waterfall, hikes and enjoying coffee in the sunny kitchen nook that looks out at the majestic waterfall. This is a wonderful private space! The bed was comfortable and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. We have already booked our next stay!

Amazing!

This home is a hidden gem. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The location is so special, unlike anywhere else we have ever stayed. It is completely private, away from everyone. The gorgeous waterfall is literally in your front yard, my husband loved fly fishing in the evenings. We had turkeys in the yard everyday when we woke up. I can't say enough about this place. It's so worth it. We will definitely be staying here again, looking forward to it!

Beautiful Waterfall Stay

We booked our stay at this Beautiful Waterfall retreat as a weekend get away for our parents Upon arrival you are mesmerized by the beautiful Waterfall in your front yard. It is so relaxing and comfortable. Our host were very kind and informative on the historical e event surrounding your stay. The house was fanomanol had every thing you would want. We will be visiting agan. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Out of all the places we have been this one is by far the best one. No orher will never top it
