We left shortly after we arrived as there were dirty towels in the hall, the neds were unmade and food debris in the sink. Never made it to the bathroom.

Wonderful stay!

Had an excellent stay at this VRBO. Easy access and great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends who will be visiting this summer!

Poor communication with the Property Manger, pictures give you

The only benefit staying was it was close to our destination. The house was not cleaned, bed frame was squeaky and mattress was over used. Dirty bedding, washroom door and shower door was broken, only one toilet roll was available for our entire 4 day stay for the family of four. Poor communication with the manager as we left the property at 5 am he emailed at 11 to dispose the garbage regarding the additional fee that was charged.

Just okay

This stay was a mixed bag. Positives:They let us check in a bit early, which was nice. The kitchen was modern and spacious. It had the amenities listed. Negatives:The gate to enter was very nondescript and hard to find. We had to bother the person in the attached house, because we felt weird about going in the backyard. Maybe add signage or a lock with a code?There were exposed wires coming out of the wall in entryway. Not safe for kids. Hole in the wall by fridge. Broken chair in the dining area. Bedding was dirty/smelly. Toaster broken (left side smoked without any bread in it). Shower glass was missing. When you slide one side, it exposed the whole other side and shower spray could escape. We originally booked this listing with full disclosure that we would be bringing one small dog. The listing provided as an amenity that it was dog friendly. It never said that there would be an extra cleaning charge for bringing a pet. However, before check out, we were charged an extra 25 pet cleaning fee.I definitely won’t be staying here ever again and I would not recommend that anyone else stay here either until they get all of these issues worked out.

Safety: No way to open the gate from the outside. We had to ‘jump’ the fence to be able to access the property. There is a hole right at the top of the stairs which is a severe tripping hazard. We arrived at night and there was no light on to find our way down the wet, slippery stairs to below grade unit. Very traitorous. A 12 inch kitchen knife was found by our 6yo in the bedside table. Property Condition: Holes in doors, walls very beat up, in some places major repairs done and never painted. The furniture is in disrepair. The couch is ‘shedding’ and the seat cushions have completely delaminated and are falling apart. Not the couch in the pictures. The dining chairs are falling apart. All are wiggly and is missing hardware causing my wife to fall off when she sat on it. In two locations on the walls there are just wires sticking out of unfinished holes. A plumbing access is rough cut into the drywall in the kitchen with no cover. The shower is missing a pane of glass. Cleanliness: The unit was not cleaned. The counters were filthy, dishes were dirty and put back in the cupboard. There was wet garbage in the cupboards. The appliances hadn’t been wiped down and they had food streaks all over the front of them. The base boards where filthy, the back of the bathroom door had brown splatters all over it. One of the beds did not have a bed sheet. Wet, greasy garbage was left in the cupboards in the kitchen. Owners above were very noisy until 11:30 at night.

There are accessibility issues in accessing the basement suite. Great care needs to be taken in navigating through the private back yard of this new house, down the stairs with handrails missing at the bottom run, and a very high threshold at the door. If arriving at night, a flashlight is needed. Noise transfer from the living quarters above may be an issue as is a very squeaky (although apparently new) bed. Otherwise very clean, fresh, and pleasant suite at a decent price.
