Experience the best of Hocking Hills at this stunning lakefront retreat on Lake Logan. This 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home sleeps 10 and features a huge yard, hot tub, and excellent fishing. A true birdwatcher’s paradise, with free use of our kayaks and canoes included for your stay.

With Hocking Hills State Park just a short drive away, this relaxing oasis is the ultimate getaway for families or groups .

*Extra guests over 6: $30/night.

**AWD required in snowy and icy conditions.

You must be at least 25 years of age to make a reservation & provide a valid driver's license or other government ID at the time of booking. Provided ID document must match credit card used to make the reservation.

As a courtesy to our neighbors, we do not allow parties at our house. Thank you for your understanding.

Early check-ins and late check-outs are granted on a case-by-case basis only. During peak season, these requests are almost always not feasible as our property is fully booked.

A beautiful property. Owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable.The big problem was getting down to the water. The back yard is steep and hard to navigate. Walking down there once was enough of a challenge for all of us .So we never sat at the water. We had brought our own kayaks but couldn't drive the truck down there to unload.

Girls Weekend

Great stay with friends. House was very nice and the property is well maintained. Only complaint is the mattresses are pretty hard, but everything was clean and well equipped.

Great property!

We stayed here for 2 nights for a small family get-away. The house was exactly as described online, & very clean. The beds were comfortable too & plenty of blankets and pillows provide which was nice for morning coffee, etc. The kitchen was spacious - plenty of room to cook. The grill was in working order with plenty of propane. Some of us took the kayaks out, which was fun, and others sat by the fire pit right there by the pond on the adirondak chairs. Nice little spot (pictured below). The yard is HUGE with plenty of room for kids to run around. The hot tub was clean - a little finicky but the host was great and helped us get it back to working order. We would definitely stay here again!

My family of 6 had a great time here. The house met all of our expectations. The location was great. We spent time hiking at the caves, went fishing at rose lake, train ride in Nelsonville, multiple wineries and restaurants and nothing was more than 20 minutes away. Kids were absolutely hooked to the ring hook game on the patio.

Wonderful Weekend Get Away!

Maria graciously hosted my friends and I for long weekend reunion. The house was not only very clean but had everything we needed and more! If I had any questions or needed help finding anything Maria responded timely and was very helpful. The property was beautiful and very private. I would recommend staying here!

Happy 92nd Birthday Mom

The house was awesome. Just like the photos. The kitchen was amazing. My siblings and I took my mom to Hocking Hills to celebrate her 92nd birthday, complete with decorations and birthday pie.Maria was great and was able to answer all of our questions in a timely fashion.Mom is already talking about coming back in the fall.

Excellent place

This was our 2nd time staying at La Esperanza and we enjoyed it as much in the cold as we did in the summer! Great hiking right out the door. Campfire ring down by the water was fun for daytime s’mores. Hot tub was fun in the snow flurries. Great communication with the host, Maria.

Absolutely loved staying here! Came with my wife and 10 month old, along with my cousin and his two toddlers. Secluded, clean, great views, huge cooking space, and the owner was very communicative!

AMAZING!

Absolutely amazing property! We went for hiking and ended up loving the Lake at the property even more. The lake is so smooth. kayaking was the best I've ever done! Its a 10 minute kayak to the beach! Truly unbelievable! The host was so gracious and was very responsive with a question or two. The Jacuzzi was spotless. There was so much seating too! I would highly recommend this proeprty.

Great place to stay when visiting hocking hills!

My wife and 3 young kids along with my mother and father in law, brother in law and nephew all fit comfortably in this very private lake front property. It was a perfect place for us all to stay while we explored hocking hills. The house was very clean with many amenities. Maria was an excellent host always available on the chat with any questions or issues. During the day we would like in hocking hills and most trails were within 25 min of the property. When we got back we enjoyed the hot tub and used the watercraft to row to the public swimming/beach area of Logan lake just around the corner. The location was very quiet and secluded which we enjoyed. The WiFi worked well though and the AC kept the house cool during the hot summer days. The town of Logan is only 10 minutes away which has a Kroger, Walmart, cvs , ice cream and pizza spots as well. We had groceries delivered to the house from Kroger upon our arrival which worked out perfectly. My family had a great week and I’m sure yours will as well if you choose this property for your lodging.
