Trip was perfect, and the cabin made it even better once we were done seeing and doing we came up to our quiet little cabin and the kids played on the grounds. Thank you! Planning on booking again in the spring.

This cabin A was a delight to stay in , very secluded, gated and secure, it was very clean and neat. Private and on top of a mountain. It was the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The host is attentive and you can call or text them if you need them if you have any questions or help with your stay on their property.

It was very clean. The host was very friendly. At last minute we added another night. It was bery easy to do and the host was very accommodating. 10 out 10 recommend. The hot tub wonderful .

Girls' Getaway

My sister and I had a WONDERFUL time at this cabin. The location was ideal for our planned activities/reservations in Rock City, Fort Payne, and Mentone. We loved the space and security of the cabin, and the hot tub was an excellent treat each night.

Weekend Getaway

This place was exactly what we were hoping for! Close to downtown Ft. Payne and surrounded by beautiful nature and falls. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely have to come back!

We really enjoyed this stay! It was 4 of us total, two adults and two young kids (2 under 3). It was super cozy and we really enjoyed the property. We loved the hot tub and the small cottage feel. It had a ton of cookware options to pick from to use so we were well fed while we were here! Also highly recommend Woodies in Dogtown down the road for dinner while staying here. Best chicken tenders and I’ve ever had and the steak was tasty! The only thing that was a bit crazy was the amount of lady bugs. I saw a different review talking about lady bugs and thought it couldn’t be more than a couple dozen. No it was actually crazy. Probably 100 just dead infront of the cottage entrance, then tons of lives ones all over the place— inside and out. We didn’t mind it but if you are not a fan of ladybugs, this stay is not for you. The place was super clean! Furniture was a bit worn but it fit the vibe!! We would definitely stay again.

We were extremelt grateful for our time spent at Deer Wood Cabin. The cabin and property itself were in great condition and provided a comfortable stay. The property managers were pleasant and were very gracious. They assisted us just after arrival of an issue

Best weekend ever!

Total privacy and the location was perfect. The cabin was very clean and stayed cold the entire stay. The process was very easy and the management kept us informed any time we had questions. We cannot wait to visit again!!!

Weekend getaway!

My husband and I needed a quick getaway from our current life situations to just be off the grid for the weekend! This place was cute and cozy. Untamed mountain was our favorite outing. Please go visit Tigers for Tomorrow while you’re there!

Girls trip

Everything was awesome about this cabin. The only complaint would be the cleanliness of the place. There was dead and alive ladybugs all around the bottom floor bedroom and there was popcorn and other remains from prior guests on the living room floor. We also seen tiny roaches in the kitchen so I’d definitely recommend that be treated but overall we had a great time and the scenery close to us was amazing

Must Stay for a great experience!

Everything was nice the one night. We were given the wrong lock box code but it was corrected in Minutes. Clean I just wish they would've had a more comfortable bed. They put all the time into everything else it would've nice to have a nicer bed.

Great A-frame cabin near Little River Canyon!

Very clean cabin and nice property. Great for an empty nesters trip or a family with older children. Hot tub was great! Quick communication from management company. Cabin A does have a basement that is only accessible by the management company, but cleaning personnel did enter the basement for supplies while we were staying there. FYI on that. You can rent Cabins B and C if that is not desirable. I think management is updating the listing to indicate this or changing their process.

Not for big people

This property is very beautiful and super clean. This review is from a 6’4” male.. This property is more suited for shorter guests. The toilet area especially. A super small shower … The loft had super low ceiling fans that required me to duck super low to get under plus it’s a straight up ladder to get to loft. The hot tub was outside and uncovered from the elements. So the weather defined whether or not it was in use.. Also, you had to walk back up gravel steps when complete. Only has a dorm fridge and a toaster oven to cook with and it’s a good 15-20 min drive for food from there so be prepared .
