Lovely cottage besides a beautiful lake. Near some hiking and rock hounding if that's what you care about. Clean. Nicely equipped. Lots of wood for fires. Absolute gem. Many many thanks to the owners

Wonderfully relaxing location and setting. We stayed there for a couple of days last year and loved it so much we booked it for a whole week this year. Wonderful hosts, great communication, everything you need in a rural setting

Wish we had stayed longer

We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin.

Vacation Stay

Excellent location and amazing stay, had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend this location and cottage. Was great for us to bird, actually was able to walk the roads near cottage.

We had a great time staying in this house, as the views were beautiful. Patsy was responsive when we had a question. Loved exploring this part of Maine.

Charming cabin on the lake

We had a lovely time in this charming cabin on Lake Orange. The view was amazing! You feel like you’re literally on the lake. The bed and couch were both extremely comfortable. Bring your own toiletries and hairdryer and you’re set. The hosts have thought of everything's else you could possibly need. The kitchen is not gourmet, but it is serviceable for basic meal prep. Our favorite feature was what they *didn’t* have - no long list of chores to do when you’re checking out. We were able to enjoy our last morning gazing at the lake and sipping our coffee. We rinsed our dishes thoroughly, picked up after ourselves And left a nice tip for housekeeping as a thank you for doing everything else. Excellent WiFi service and smart tv. We were able to cast the Olympics to the tv via our smartphones. Rainy/foggy weather kept us from using the kayak and grill, but they looked so inviting.

Beautiful spot perfect

very beautiful right on the lake just enjoyed sitting in the living room or in the kitchen looking out at the lake with a beautiful sunset. The property was very clean inside and out with plenty of spots to sit outside and just enjoy it The house was very clean super quiet area wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Short family vacation

The property was very clean, as advertised and had everything we needed. Orange lake provided opportunity for the kids to fish swim and play and we were able to make a quick drive to lubec to the state park. Great mini (3 night) vacation. Patsy and Ken were great hosts.

Exceptional host, beautiful property

From the moment we pulled up we knew we got exactly what we hoped for. An oasis from begining to end. Our very tentative hosts left a wagon to help with our bags. This was so huge for me since we were traveling with our 6mo old on our first family vacation and he comes with alot of stuff! Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need as far as to drive over and hour to get a tv remote that had been misplaced! There communication was open and they responded very quickly. From the decor to the different area for relaxing, nothing dissapointed. There was a kayak we unfortunately didnt get a chance to use as we spend most of our time swimming, sitting by the fire waiting for that indescribable sunset over the lake, relaxing in the hammock and watching the stars 🌟 It was magical Roughly 20 min in each direction from the main road takes you to two different towns for eateries and shopping. Both rides are very tranquil. We enjoyed Fishermans Warf and Helens the best. At Helens, get the chocolate pie, its amazing! We cant wait for the next time we get to visit Orange Lake, its our new favorite spot 🙌🙏

Perfect Family Vacation

We enjoyed a weeks stay at this property and had such a great time. The sunsets are worth the hype, the property is so clean, the owners very generous! We did not swim much in the lake but did fish daily right from shore and enjoyed the fire pit nightly. My only complaint is that I STILL haven’t seen a moose! 15 years and counting. Gorgeous scenery!

Wonderful Stay!

Great little cabin right on the lake. Orange Lake is beautiful and the surrounding area quiet. The water was warm and pleasant to swim in. The property was clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The whole experience was very relaxing. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely consider another stay. Thank you!
