The Bodin-ski House

Beautifully updated historic home centrally located in downtown Bayfield within walking distance to all restaurants, shops, the ferry line, and most major attractions. Two bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 full baths. Full kitchen. Lake view. This historic home is across from Greunke’s Restaurant. Two bedrooms face the street with the living area in the back that walks out unto a deck with lake views.

Guests will have access to the entire lower unit. The garage is for owner use only. The upstairs is its own separate rental unit.

NOTE: This is a lower apartment unit. There may be guests staying in the upstairs unit. Please observe inside voices and soft steps to ensure the enjoyment of all guests. **Quiet Hours are 10PM to 8AM**

We have a strict “no outdoor shoes inside” policy. The flooring is hard maple throughout. Please consider bringing your own indoor slippers or nonskid socks for your stay.

Bodinskihouse is a lovely place to stay. Very clean and convenient to town and docks. Nice shops and restaurants nearby. Would prefer checkout time was 11am but overall a very good experience.

We had a wonderful time and the house is in an excellent location to walk to all areas of interest. We had excellent communication with the host and they were so quick to respond to any question I had. The house is very spacious and very clean and supplied with everything we needed. I would recommend this VRBO highly and we will return as well.

Clean and spacious and very well appointed. Very comfortable for two couples. The pillows were very uncomfortable but other than that the place was wonderful and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful.

Amazing little place in the heart of town

Loved this place. Literally right in the heart of Bayfield, it’s only a block or two walk to just about everything you would want to see and do. Cozy and simple little home that makes a great stay for a smaller group.

Bodin Ski House Bayfield

Nice place and very clean. They no longer have the grill because the owner said he had too much trouble with it with the renters. However, he did not taken that amenities in the VRBO listing.

Very nice

4 days 3 night in Bodin Ski-House. House was clean. We stayed in the Second Bedroom which has no closet. The nearest one is on the other end of the house. We made it work but was not convenient. One towel for each guest was not enough for three days.

Wonderful place to stay!

Location is perfect; so close to everything. Inside was spotless and so comfortably and beautifully decorated. 5 of us for a "girls night out"--the living area was a wonderful gathering place; it was a bit cool to use the deck. Beds quite comfortable; one of us slept on the couch and one brought an air mattress so that we'd have enough sleeping spots. Worked well. Would stay here again and would highly recommend.

Lovely first floor of a house and great location

The property was lovely. It is the first floor of a house and we did hear the upstairs people a little bit when they came in and out but otherwise not at all. The main bedroom was very spacious with a great bathroom including a sink that is outside the toilet/bath which was a bonus and the beds were comfortable. The porch was great too. We would've stayed there next year but they're already booked.

Great, centrally located home

Our family rented both the Bodin units for one night and really loved the house and location. It was just a short walk to restaurants and shops, and the home was so comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice! Booking and check-in were easy and the hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. We’ll definitely book again if we get back to Bayfield.

Fourth of July Blast

The property was clean, well stocked and had plenty of space for six people. It was located downtown next to all the activities. The property owners were fast to reply to any requests we had. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Bayfield downtown perfect house

We were a party of 5 and this house was absolutely perfect! We rented the downstairs portion of the house and never heard the family above us. Everything is so well marked on where to find extra blankets, kitchenware, etc... It's spotless and gorgeous. Great location to wander Bayfield and catch a boat ride. The owner responded to my messages immediately and was so accommodating. I would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you! Jenny

We have three young children who adore this pristine part of the Northwoods, from the soft, sandy beaches of summer to the powdered slopes of our neighboring ski hill in winter. We love hosting families, couples, groups and individuals alike who want to experience a small bit of our world. Having the ability to do so via platforms like Vrbo is absolutely amazing.

You get to enjoy the energy and invigorating bustle of Bayfield. The location is absolutely perfect, close to the the pier/ferry dock, restaurants, shops, and walking trails among other attractions.
