Creekside, pet friendly, wrap-around porch, minutes to downtown Hayesville!
Private 4 bedroom Creekside retreat with views!
The area: Western North Carolina is a beautiful region in the Appalachian Mountains known for its stunning landscapes, outdoor recreation opportunities, and charming small towns. The region boasts numerous state and national parks, including Nantahala National Park, the Fires Creek Wildlife Management Area, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which provide endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, mountain lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and more. Hayesville is a small town, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is home to many historic buildings and landmarks, including the Clay County Historical and Arts Council, which showcases the region's rich cultural heritage. Another notable attraction in the area is Lake Chatuge, which spans the border between North Carolina and Georgia and is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and other activities on the water. The house is set in a beautiful meadow with sunset and sunrise views and is only minutes by car from downtown where you can dine at restaurants and breweries, enjoy outdoor festivities, and shop at local antique and gift shops that line the streets. A little further you will find golf courses and marinas with boat rentals for enjoying Lake Chatuge.
The space: House sits on a level 1-acre lot in the Tusquittee Valley with a flowing creek just steps away from the back porch. Open floorplan featuring a modern, freshly updated, and well-stocked kitchen with all the amenities of home. Main level of house includes a master suite with king bed and sizeable bathroom. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, a library nook, and one bathroom. One upstairs bedroom features a king bed and the other a fun bunk room (bunk with trundle - 2 twin mattresses and 1 double mattress) for the kids or additional guests.
The "grandparents suite" is an elevated carriage house connected by covered walkway off the main house porch. It is a 1 queen bedroom/1 bath unit featuring high ceilings, warm wood finishes, and a place for respite from all the memories they are sure to be making. Features a living room with tv, couch, and seating. Kitchenette with table, coffee maker, full size stove, microwave, fridge, and full size sink. Bathroom with stand-up shower and double vanity. And their own thermostat!
House features a screened-in back porch with a level walk-out to your own creek with a firepit and beautiful views. The front of the house features a large and level grass yard that stays freshly mowed throughout the growing season with sunset views from the rocking chairs and a perfect spot for star gazing.
Other amenities on property include wifi, three flat-screen Roku TVs, outdoor grill, AC and Heat, outdoor fireplace with wood provided, indoor fireplace with gas logs, hairdryer, basic soaps, and linens and towels provided.
Spend your vacation at this well-appointed property in Hayesville and enjoy endless views, cows grazing and turkeys trotting just across the creek, trout fishing, hiking, tubing, and the opportunity to do as much or as little as you'd like.
