Escape life and lose yourself into the serenity of nature. "Diamond in the Rustic" soothes you with stunning hilltop views from its oversized porch, a spacious fire pit to take in a perfect Hocking sunset, a private hot tub to soak away the day's worries. Our cabin is 25 minutes or less to many of Hocking's outdoor and indoor activities. You will be staying in a rural area and with hill top views comes a steep driveway, 4 wheel drive is recommended. There is room for 5 vehicles by the house and there is additional parking below. Cabin entrance is well lit and handicap accessible. After booking, you will a receive a separate request for a required 6% lodging tax for Hocking County/Starr Township. Up to 4 dogs are welcome with a flat fee.

We stayed here for a 16th birthday party for my daughter. All the girls got very excited the moment they entered the property. A Very nice place! They had a great time, and the host/manager was very helpful, responding promptly to our questions. (I was slightly worried about the uphill to the driveway at night, but it turned out to be alright, thanks to the detailed instructions from the host.) We would definitely come back.

Our stay was amazing. Absolutely gorgeous!! Relaxing, spacious, cozy, everything we needed. We just got a new puppy and she was happy to be outside. The only issue was the wifi, it kept going out. The host got back to us quick and helped us find the router. Other than that it was lovely and we would come back again.

Great stay

We really enjoyed staying here. Relaxing atmosphere. 25 minutes from great hikes at Hocking Hills. spent numerous hours on their large porch.

Beautiful polished rustic home with a lot of amenities even for the dogs Loved the gate in porch and the view My family loved the karaoke machine, and video game area. The well water was better than our city water. We managed to climb up the steep driveway. The house was located near various hiking areas especially Old Man’s Caverns. We would love to comeback again.

Lovely Cousins’ Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend! The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. The decor was very cozy and the hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive and provided us with clear instructions. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would stay again!

Great place to stay

This is an absolutely beautiful and modern property. We loved all of the amenities. The kids had hours of endless fun we couldn’t even do everything in just 1 night. Would definitely come back. Only complaint is how hard it was to get up the driveway…took 3 tries because of the rain the day before it was muddy. Otherwise it was an amazing stay!

We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this home was truly one of the best. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway. The game room was a favorite for both kids and adults—especially the bumper pool table, which quickly became a family favorite.After long days of hiking, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind, and the outdoor firepit made for memorable evenings filled with laughter and s’mores. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the coffee bar was a thoughtful touch with options to suit everyone’s taste.Check-in was seamless, with clear instructions provided ahead of time. The kitchen was impressively stocked—hands down the best we’ve ever experienced in a rental. It had everything we needed to cook for a group of 10, which made meal prep smooth and enjoyable.We were also so impressed with the responsiveness of the owner. Any questions we had were answered quickly and kindly, which made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay.This home was clean, well-appointed, and clearly designed with guests in mind. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and welcoming place to stay.

Great property, dangerous driveway 4 WHEEL DRIVE IS A MUST

The home was beautiful, well kept, and nicely decorated. It was the perfect layout for our group. The water is well water so be aware of that in planning. Everything was clean and nicely put together. The only complaint we had was that the driveway was extremely unstable and had huge divots in it to the point that it was tough to get up with a 4 wheel drive SUV. They mentioned in advance of check in that it would be hard in inclement weather and that’s when they would recommend 4 wheel drive but it was difficult in all weather. I contacted them about this and they said they recently had the driveway repaired and intend to have it repaired again. Overall, I would stay at this property again and would recommended it for large groups of families or friends.
