Not up to standard
The location of the property was misrepresented. At first glance the location is next to the city jail The exterior is non welcoming I felt I had to be on high alert when coming and going into the property. As far as the property manager I never encountered a less concerned or engaged owner. After arriving to the location I tried to express my concerns about what I had observed. He simply blew me off. His tone and response were offensive and belittling. After speaking to him on the phone about not being able to retrieve the key fob. I tried calling him back about the door entry code. After two hours of standing outside and the phone with VRBO. He text back. Not once did he call after I and the VRBO agent sent chats and calls. There were no additional supplies in the space ie trash bags paper towels tissue etc. the washer did not fully drain so the wash was completely soaked when finished this is just my feeling but the owner of this property is in this for all the wrong reasons. I will not be visiting any of his properties in the future. I’ve stayed in a few properties with VRBO all went well but my first call to VRBO the young lady hung up on me. Overall if you are heading to Birmingham avoid this property
