Perfect spot in Old Town Rovinj

Absolute gem of a place!! Zljka and her father went out of their way to make sure were were comfortable, helped us find free parking, and Answered all of our questions during our stay. The place is beautiful!! Right by the market, and great restaurants! You won’t find a better stay in Rovinj.

Amazing location

The apartment was a perfect space for our visit and the location was stellar. Dad Zelko was so kind to meet us at the ferry terminal and personally check us in to the apartment and give us quick lay of the town. We loved the hospitality and loved our visit! The AC and washer was also a huge bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Most gracious host ever

Excellent location. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Cannot say enough about how communicative, kind, and gracious the hosts were. Zeljka’s dad helped us with luggage, parking, and making recommendations. Zeljka, the host made wonderful recommendations, and was attentive to our every need. Best host ever!

Wish we had stayed longer

I can't recommend this place enough. From the gracious host who had a ton of great recommendations, to the very charming apartment it was a perfect stay from start to finish. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the pedestrian area so perfect for exploring. We were just disappointed that we didn't stay longer!

Great location, the best service and recommendations.

The service offered by Zeljka and Zelenko was amazing! From the meeting at the entrance to the city, the escort to the apartment, the welcome mandarins, many recommendations for restaurants and things to do, and responding to our many questions, we had a terrific stay. We had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. The apartment was just the right size. It’s not brand new and shiny; it felt very homey. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Amazing hospitality

The host bent over backwards to take care of us. We came in the late evening, and the host's father met us, helped carry our bags, and helped us find parking. He shared his grandson's toy helicopter so our 3-year old could play with it. Really grateful.

Wonderfully gracious hosts!!

Great location near the main square in Old Town Rovinj! The apartment worked well for my husband and me. Zeljka, and her father, Zeliko were fabulous hosts;meeting us upon our arrival, orienting us to the apartment, and charming Rovinj, providing us with fruit and bottled water, and meeting us at the apartment for our departure, to help with our luggage and arrange for a taxi to pick up our rental car. Lovely gracious people!

Amazing Stay in Rovinj - Great Host

My wife and I spent 5 nights here before heading to the Italian Dolomites. Zeljka and her father were awesome. Extremely responsive and helpful and very easy to deal with. We had some flight and luggage problems and the host was amazing with our arrival changes. The apartment is well equipped, clean and literally in the heart of the Old City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back and stay again without hesitation. Excellent place.

The Best Hosts in VRBO!

Zeljka & her father Zelko work as a team. They are efficient, professional and so very willing to accomodate their guests. Zelika communicated with us before our stay to introduce herself. At my request, she comprised a detailed itinerary with suggestions on what to see & where to eat. Zelko met us and drove us to the apartment, unloaded our bags and showed us around after leaving us with a 6 pack of bottled water & a bowl of fruit. He then walked victor to the parking lot to drop off our vehicle. He checked on us numerous times during our stay to make certain we were happy. This unit had the most comfortable beds & pillows. A real treat. With a washing machine & plenty of hot water, it made our stay easy. When we left, they had arranged for a shuttle to pick us & our luggage up to transport us to our vehicle in the parking lot. And Zelika left us with an enormous box of lovely chocolates & a limestone reproduction of a Kazun, a wonderful memento of our stay in Rovinj. Communication was excellent & immediate. These Two are most definitely Super Hosts! Thank you to both Zeljka & Zelko! Warm Regards, Dawn & Victor

Best location and host for an unforgettable stay

Every once in a while you find a gem. This rental was one of those times. The unit is in the best location center old town to move for all things Rovinj. The host is the nicest family you will ever meet. They met us outside the city, escorted us into the apartment, The apartment is nice size and has all the things you expect in a fully stocked kitchen, washing machine, soap. coffee. Beach towels and mats. Bed was comfortable and there were 3 windows facing the old town vibe, steps away from Pier and in town Restuarant’s and shops. Live music fun for the kids, Take a 15 minute ferry to red island beaches is wonderful. We are definitely coming back next year. Host is A+

Perfect apartment in Old Town Rovinj

The location is fantastic! The host family went above and beyond to keep in communication with us, met us at the bus station, and ensured we had all the information about what to see and where to go. Could not have asked for a better host! The apartment is very well-equipped and cozy. We will stay here again.

Nice Apartment, Great Location

This one-bedroom apartment in old town Rovinj is perfectly located to get to all restaurants, harbor and ferries, or just explore the narrow streets, shops, and squares lined with cafes and restaurants. Washing machine and air conditioner a major plus. In addition, our hosts were always available to answer any questions (usually within a few minutes of texting), and help with maps, luggage, parking, etc. We were there for three weeks and had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Holiday

We enjoyed staying at the cute apartment in the city centre of Rovinj! Zeljko and Zeljka are the friendliest hosts ever, they did their best for us. I would totally recommend visiting beautiful Rovinj and staying at Arco Vecchio :)

Perfect!

Zelko, Zelijka’s dad met us right when we arrived and helped us carry our bags up. Incredibly kind and helpful, showed us everything to do. Zelijka called and made sure we arrived alright, all so nice. The place was amazing, right in the heart of town. We walked everywhere. Rovinj was one of our favorite places in Croatia. There’s no shortage of amazing views and restaurants. Zelko met us the next day and helped us take our luggage down, even driving us to the car rental place. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else I. Rovinj. If we make it back we’ll definitely be reaching back out to Zelijka and Zelko.

Perfect location, lovely hosts

Close to everything in an adorable part of town. Zeljka's father went out of his way to find us free parking, escort us to the apartment, give us fabulous recommendations for food and sites, and show us all the amenities. Only wish we'd booked a longer stay with them!

Fantastic experience

Hosts were incredibly accommodating. We were met at a convenient location and graciously assisted with the parking of our rental and moving into the apartment. Zelko was a very helpful tour guide providing much information about the city sights as well as all details of the apartment. He reappeared at the agreed upon time to help us with luggage and our departure. The apartment location was delightful. We were also able to see some of this hosts other properties and highly recommend any of them.

Zjelka and her father ensure guests are satisfied with excellent communication, prompt service and very personalized service. We were met at the bus stop and walked to the apartment through the old town and help with luggage. Then a thorough orientation to the apartment (her Dad even put soap in the wash machine, so it was a treat to do a load of laundry after two weeks) and he brought us some fruit and local wine. They had every brochure available and maps. TV and wifi are excellent and despite being in the heart of shops and restaurants, noise was minimal after 10:30 pm. A little grocery store is around the corner and many shops for all the local artisans. There are 4 flights of stairs to get to this 2nd floor apartment, but we managed this easily since we were out most of the day and Zjelko’s help with luggage made this workable, (My Mom is in her 80’s). Upon departure, Zjelko met us again and helped with luggage and walked us the short distance to the ferry departure dock. Wonderful, friendly service and despite fancier hotels in the area, for the price and location, this is recommended. Staying in the old town is worth it.

Wonderful

If you want to experience the old world living this is the place. Everything was taken care of including helping with parking and moving the luggage. Zelko is on top of everything and will do anything to make your stay a great experience. Suggestions on tours and dining were great and we even got in a little local culture with a clarinet quartet at the church. Great time and we would definately return

The hosts, Zlolkjo and Zlolkja (father and daughter) are so kind, warm and welcoming. Zlolkjo was there to meet me and direct me to the parking which is arranged in advance! This is very helpful and much more cost effective in Rovinj. He then helped me with my bags as we strolled 10 minutes through the old town and to the beautiful home. The apartment truly feels like a home. Two nights was nowhere near enough time to see Rovinj, Istria or to stay in this beautiful Croatian home. I highly recommend and I will be back for sure. Thank you so much!

Lovely apartment in a great location

Arco Vecchio was located in a great position in the old town. The apartment had everything we needed, and we particularly loved the comfortable bed and pillows... luxury! Our host Zeljka was brilliant, and a great communicator. She also sent us a suggested itinerary for our five day stay in Istria. The hosts dad Zeljko met us on the first day and was incredibly helpful with our luggage and advice on where to visit, restaurants etc. On check out he also met us and arranged for transport for our luggage to our car. What a lovely gentleman he was! There is no parking available in the old town but the host arranged parking within walking distance nearby. We would highly recommend this apartment.

I am Croatian from Rovinj, who enjoys travelling, culture, historical buildings and reading, and I am inspired by Rovinj Old Town where my apartments Arco Vecchio and sea view apartments are situated. My father Zelko is a great help in assisting our guests at the apartments and providing local, out of guide tips, so you can really discover this gem. I currently live in Porec where I work as a hotel general manager, and I really enjoy the hospitality sector and meeting so many great and inspiring people.

It took me a long time to choose my two favorite spots in Rovinj with such a unique location, the lovely view and a good vibe, so today I am glad to be able to offer my two homes to travelers from all over the world who want to feel the real spirit of the Old Rovinj, being in the heart of it all.
