Propietario/a: Sabrina Koch
My name is Sabrina and I will be your host during your stay. I live in Calgary with my husband and two boys. We love to travel and adventure together. We built this cabin with our two business partners Joanna and Jamie.
Joanna and Sabrina are business partners and friends who have extensive experience within property management, owning several properties in both the long and short term rental market. Our journey into the short-term rental market commenced with our personal cabin, driven by a strong commitment to prioritize customer service. Having experienced the shortcomings of other property management companies in handling our long term rental properties, we recognized a distinct need for improved service. This realization led us to take control of property management ourselves, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service that mirrors the standards we value and anticipate as guests.
We wanted to provide an elevated guest experience for guests visiting Golden, BC.
Both couples had some roots in Ontario and enjoyed the cabin life growing up. We wanted to create the same memories for our families out west and be able to share it with others!
Enjoying both summer and winter activities we wanted a comfortable and relaxing place set in the woods to explore with our families. That is when The Kingswood was formed.
We bring to you all the comforts of home with thoughtful design touches and a few unexpected luxuries to make your stay amazing. This is why we love to host!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We chose Golden, BC to build a remote cabin in the woods as both of our families love to explore in the mountains to do many outdoor activities and to have a place to relax and unwind. We feel that it is the perfect location for us, being a 3 hour drive from Calgary and allowing us to travel through the mountains to get to. The community of Golden is amazing and offers so many opportunities for families to enjoy from summer activities such as swimming, paddle boarding, canoe trips, white water rafting and hiking. In the winter you can enjoy building snowman at the cabin, enjoying the indoor fireplace and outdoor hot tub after a day of cross country skiing, downhill skiing or snowmobile riding.

We believe our property stands out from the rest as it is built on 38 acres of land. We designed it to have a long private driveway to get to unlike other properties around us that are right off the road. This gives a feeling of seclusion to enjoy the cabin, the outdoor hot tub and nature on your own. We also planned out the space just as we would enjoy it at home with top of the line appliances, counters and finishes. Our feedback from guests is that they feel right at home and that we spared no expense to deliver a unique cabin stay in the woods
