Downtown Charleston One Block to King St. Free Off Street Parking

We would like to inform our guests that an active commercial construction project is underway next to this home. The construction will be active Monday through Friday and possibly on Saturdays. The starting time during the week is possibly as early as 7:00am. Typical hours are 8am-5pm.
Depending on the stage of construction, some noise may be heard inside the home during work hours, but at other times it should be quiet.

-We were given notice that there will not be any more "nighttime activity".
-The townhomes NEXT to us will be completed in the summer of 2026.
-The project behind us is supposed to be completed by December 2026.
-There is another project starting on St. Philip Street, but it should not cause any noise at this home.

We want to be very transparent with our guests. We are still successfully hosting guests during the construction period.

We will continue to go above and beyond to make your vacation an enjoyable experience.

About our home....

The Blue and White House is a charming 1,500-square-foot house located one block off King Street in downtown Charleston, SC. This home is newly constructed and has high-end appliances and furnishings. If you are looking for a beautiful home to relax in while enjoying Charleston's finest restaurants and shopping, you should look no further. This house is within walking distance of all that downtown has to offer!
Our home is the perfect getaway for families, girls' weekends, and couples retreats! Book now- you'll be glad you did!
Daniel and Amy are certified super hosts! We have been hosting guests in our properties for over 8 years! We take pride in our properties, and it shows!

Trained dogs are considered for a $100 pet fee.

Guests have access to the entire house. Three bedrooms/3 bathrooms. There is a private driveway large enough for two vehicles. If you need additional parking, we may be able to accommodate.

Other things to note:

* We cannot accommodate any large parties.

No smoking. Only fully trained dogs are considered for a $100 pet fee. (Sorry, no cats)

The property was super clean and very nice for our family of 4. Everyone was able to have their own space when we returned in the evenings after long days of sight seeing. Owners are extremely responsive. Would stay here again!

Beautiful place and great location for tucked away eateries and shops! We would definitely recommend. Plus you get off street parking w a gate which is a major plus in Charleston! You get a ton of street noise however! Woke up 2 nights in a row (weekend) to loud groups of college kids. It cannot be helped and it is not the hosts fault (they were kind enough to leave a pack of earbuds, though we could’ve used a pack for each of us). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Cute place - very clean and safe

Fabulous house in perfect area!

Everything was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the house. The beds were so comfy and linens were fantastic! Shower pressure was perfect! We didn’t use the kitchen other than the coffee maker and enjoyed coffee every morning in the sitting area. So fun! We were close to many great restaurants! Very walkable area and we felt safe the entire time. The construction was not an issue for us!

Beautiful home… What you see is what you get… Very nice!!

Wonderful place to stay. The home owners were always fast to respond and very kind! The home is clean and the beds are super comfortable. No issues during our stay. Close to the downtown market area, nice places to eat and not far at all from the beach! My family and I would definitely consider staying at this location in the future. We all enjoyed our stay for sure!! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to be in the Charleston area.

House was nice but trip was unpleasant because of construction on thtee sides not just "next" to the house as told. Also could not reach the house because of street blocked on both ends of street by barricade and street was torn up and holes. Metal plates had to be put down to drive on. Had to call to see how to get to the house and was told ask a construction worker to move the barrier. This was done entire time we were there. Sometimes you had help moving the barricade and sometimes you didn't. The construction was so loud and forceful that the windows and pictures rattled and house shook. Was awful. From 630 am to 730 pm. Shouldn't be rented during this. It's not just a little construction. It's massive. Out every window and workers passing by constantly. Never experienced anything like this We left early. So sad

Perfect Stay - 4 Nights

We are three retired ladies who had a fantastic time staying in this convenient, clean, private and beautifully appointed Charleston single house. Three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and ample common space. Even better than the pictures! We did not have a car and we walked everywhere. Suggest the Bulldog Downtown Food Tour for a special taste of lowcountry cooking. Also, Publix delivery via Instacart for food items you want to stock. Amy and Dan are very gracious hosts. You can't go wrong with this lodging.

Beautifully decorated home

We came here for a girls weekend. The house is newly renovated and decorated so beautifully!!! Clean and meticulously cared for. It was a short walk to King St restaurants and shopping. We also walked to waterfront area which was a longer walk but do-able. Area felt a little on the outskirts but turned out to be easily accessible to day/night life. Amy was great and very responsive to any requests.
