Lake Hartwell Family Lake House
Summary:
This single level home is filled with many family memories for the owners. They hope you will find it just as enchanting as they do. Through all the years the deck was always the hangout space. The big sugar gum tree overhanging the massive deck provides great shade and the feeling of being immersed in nature. The walk to the dock is a gentle easy slope. Guests will have full access to the dock and center slip. Durham boat landing is very close if you plan to bring your own boat.
The Space:
The main living area of this home is big and spacious with great views. There is a vintage bumper pool table that doubles as a card playing table. Great place for board games or puzzles. Enjoy having meals on the massive dining table in a patio room that has splendid views. There is also a breakfast table, stools at the kitchen island and outdoor tables.
Bedroom layout:
Main Bedroom: king with private bathroom
Bedroom 2: two queen beds with private bathroom
Bedroom 3: king bedroom with shared bathroom
Bedroom 4: queen bedroom with shared bathroom
The Neighborhood:
Fair Play Heights subdivision is a small cozy neighborhood with both full and part time residents. This home feels like you are the only one on the street. However, you do have neighbors through the woods, so please keep noise levels down between 10pm - 8am.
Other Things to Note:
Lake Hartwell lake levels fluctuate and there is no way to know where they will be at the time of your visit. It is controlled by the Army Corp of Engineers and they have control over water levels. However, Lake Hartwell is a great fishing lake. It has over 960 miles of shoreline and 55,900 acres of water. It's emerald green color makes it a beautiful lake to visit.
The fireplace is non-functioning.
