Come stay at Sunset Bay, where the sky comes alive as the sun slips below the secluded tree line right out your back door. Here, your family can enjoy that much needed getaway on the near half acre lot, situated on a quite lakeside cul-de-sac.

Crisps fall nights beckon for the warmth of the lakeside bonfire pit or living room fireplace. Bring your cross country skis or snowmobile once the snow arrives, your back door will connect you to hundred's of miles of trails and boundless fun.

There is a ring doorbell camera at front door that looks out over the driveway and garage.

We loved our stay! Check-in was very easy and there were clear directions for all the house amenities. The house was cozy, well-stocked, and spacious. We spent every night in the hot tub watching the sunset or stargazing, and plenty of time relaxing by the fireplace or doing puzzles in the sun room. The views were beautiful, and it felt like we were almost right on the water. We also had a great time hiking in the nearby Carlos Avery State Wildlife Management Area. We would absolutely love to come back! Summer would be fun to enjoy the fire pit and go kayaking too — highly recommend! Thank you so much!

The place was exactly as listed. Only one bathroom, which is very small, but not a problem. We enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub just about every day we were here.

Very nice cabin on the lake, fully stocked with all the essentials. Hot tub was wonderful and the sunsets over the lake were quite picturesque.

Even better than the pictures

We booked Sunset Bay for a first family get together. My don lives 20 minutes away with his 4 yo. My daughter, sip and 9 mos old granddaughter live in Maryland.i’m up from Florida. The pictures do not accurately portray the property ( much nicer in person). Anything we needed was there and Heidi was quick to communicate with us. I will definitely consider this location if we road trip here again

We stayed at this lake house for 4 days and 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The home was very clean and well-maintained, and communication with the host was fast, easy, and super helpful.The kitchen was fully stocked—not just with the basics, but with thoughtful extras like condiments, ziplock bags, tin foil, and even a grill, which made meals really convenient. The huge hot tub was definitely the highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.We also loved all the local wildlife around the property. Watching the birds, deer, and especially the neighbor’s entertaining ducks added something special to the stay.The only small downside was that one of the couches was quite firm and not the most comfortable for sleeping. But everything else more than made up for it.We’d definitely recommend this place and are already looking forward to coming back!

Can't wait to go back!

This is an amazing place to stay. The location is quiet and beautiful, the house is spacious and also cozy, and the well-equipped kitchen is such a treat.I've stayed at many different vacation rentals/rental places - this is one of the best places I've stayed. Heidi was lovely and communicative! And the view of the lake? Even in the winter it was a delight to look out from the hot tub. I can't wait to visit again, and bring more of my friends and family too.

Perfect distance from the metro area

Everything you need to feel that "Up North" feeling, except the long car ride. We went up to check out the Dead End Hayride and had a great time. Property exceeded my expectations!

Great getaway

We stayed to go to the mall of america. We wanted somewhere outside the city and this home was just right for us! 2 bedrooms were clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom was great with the stacked washer and dryer. The home was comfortable and completely perfect! I recommend this home for anyone looking for a lake front home.

Beach House Bliss

This is a very sweet beach house, well appointed for my husband and me and our teenage daughter. I loved the cozy modern feel of the interiors and all the amenities offered including the hot tub! We would love to come back in the summertime to make use of the water/kayaks and fire pit…too cold for that this time. The loons, geese, water and sunsets were also very calming and beautiful. The only thing for us was understanding when we would receive the key code and how to work some things. We know now and the owner was very prompt in responding to all of our questions even over a busy holiday weekend. We highly recommend Sunset Bay. Thank you!

Beautiful views and a cozy, relaxing stay!

What a perfect weekend getaway! We wanted a quick trip to recharge and enjoy each other’s company-mostly spent in the hot tub soaking up the sunsets of course :) Our pup enjoyed the enclosed back room with a view of the lake, dock, and beautiful spacious yard. A warm and welcoming space that we hope to come back to enjoy again soon!
