Aloni Cottage

Aloni Cottage is located in a picturesque village, Megala Chorafia, built on top of the hill. It is surrounded by greenery while offering a panoramic view of the White Mountains and the Aegean Sea. Right there you will find our three-room apartment, fully equipped, offering you a wonderful stay. It is 11 km from the city of Chania. In the surrounding area you can enjoy the sunny beaches, the taverns and the Ancient Aptera, an archaeological site.

Aloni cottage is an apartment of 110 sq.m. It is located in Aptera, specifically in a village, Megala Horafia. It consists of three bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. But the most important of all is that it is located in a quiet location and has an incredible view of the mountain and the bay of Souda.

The village is in a very good spot for making excursions to the nearby traditional villages of the Apokoronas region. In Stylos you can have a drink of shaded coffee and in Samona you can visit the church of Agios Nikolaos, with its amazing frescoes. You can admire wild flowers unique to Crete or walk in the small gorges of the Apokoronas region. Megala Chorafia is next to the National Road, thus making it easy to access other areas of the island. The airport from our accommodation is located at a distance of 23 kilometers as well as the port at a distance of 3.8 kilometers.

Aloni cottage is located in Megala Horafia, 1 kilometer from the historical village of Aptera. You can go swimming or have fun at the sandy beaches of Kalyves (3 km away) and Almyrida (8 km away) and Kalami (3 km away). For food you can try the traditional taverns located in the first core. There is also a mini market there.
