Peaceful and private retreat with an 8-acre lake and a 2.5-acre pond. There is plenty of room to roam on this 50+ acre property featuring beautiful views of the Arkansas River. Private gated access leads up to the lodge that is nestled near the lake. With five bedrooms, each with its own full bath, two additional half-baths, a spacious well stocked kitchen and dining area, playroom and three living rooms, the lodge can accommodate 18-23 guests, making it perfect for reunions, corporate retreats or any large group. There are also plenty of options for outdoor entertaining and activities under the extra large covered carport, sitting around the large fire pit, grilling on the pellet grill, canoeing on the lake or playing basketball. Lodge is also next to the wedding venue Hickman Hill Events.

Serene and idyllic retreat

Beautiful location and lodge with lots of room to spread out. Not too far from town but worlds away from it all. We enjoyed walking the grounds, sitting around the fire pit, fishing, and stargazing. The teens had fun with the ping pong table, basketball, and puzzles. It was a peaceful and refreshing getaway. Very kind owner/host. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Property

The house was very spacious and well stocked. Plenty of room for our extended family. The property was amazing. Kids had a ton of room to roam and play. We canoed and caught a few fish as well. Very peaceful and quiet. We would absolutely spend another family weekend here. Thanks!

Fabulous retreat!!

We were in Fort Smith, Arkansas for a Wedding and all the Texas tamiles stayed her. Everyone from ages 8 to 72 enjoyed it! We canoed, fished, ate s’mores over the fire, played games…even had some mini basketball, ping pong and corn hole competition! The house is well-supplied (do bring your own spices!), clean and thoroughly enjoyable!

60th Birthday Bash

Amazing experience!! The owner was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The lodge is exceptionally thought out with everything you can think of for a fun filled get away with family and friends. Thee was plenty of room for 50 guests for my husbands party and 23 spending the night. Tons of room to roam. Fire pit, corn hole, ping pong , basket ball! The lodge has 3 living areas such a peaceful place to relax. 2 ponds and a short walk to the river!

Beautiful property great for large groups

The property grounds are well taken care of. Check-in process was easy. You will need to bring all toiletries, toilet paper, detergents, soap etc. The brakers constantly tripped in the kitchen and throughout the house so making food, coffee, charging items was made difficult. We unfortunately had to use one of the recreational spaces to make our toast and coffee for breakfast. Dinner one night took about two hours and a half hours because of the electrical issues. The spacious layout and many activities available made our stay enjoyable.

Perfect large family gathering!!!

We all loved our stay at The Lodge! It has everything you need to have a great family week together. Comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms for everyone. Lots of kitchen equipment and cabinets. A huge island where we all sat at while watching the cook at work. We shared kitchen duty. The outdoor areas were well used by everyone, young and old. We had s’mores at the beautiful fire pit. Walked down to the river and watched bald eagles searching for fish to eat. Our extended family came over one evening to hang out and loved everything about the property. I almost hate to give such a good review because I selfishly want to keep this spot a secret!!!! And did I mention that the host is so easy to deal with! We all appreciated everything!!

Family Time Celebration

We were celebrating my Mom, she is cancer free at 84 years young!!! 💥 We came from New York, Connecticut, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas. We had an average of 25 people for most dinners in the evening. Staying at the Lodge made those dinners easy. Everything that you need is in the kitchen! We played lots of corn hole, basketball, fished, cards, board games and just enjoyed each others company! The beds are comfortable and having a full bath in each bedroom is perfect for our group. With multiple generations wanting to do different things, having all of the separate living areas was perfect for us! Some were playing video games on a big tv, some were playing cards, some were talking quietly in another area and even the littles could go to bed early or nap. The Perfect Family Get Away!!! And a great celebration of our Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother!!

Amazing Stay!

I’d like to start off by saying how amazing Caleb, our host, was! After having booked a location for a small church retreat at a different location, we all of a sudden got a phone call that we were double booked so they had to cancel us 3 weeks out! I was frantically searching for a new location within our budget and am so grateful I was able to find this property. I messaged Caleb and he was very responsive and was able to accommodate our entire group. The first night we arrived at the property there was a pretty heavy storm (out of everyone’s control) the power went out. It was late when I messaged so we could report so I wasn’t expecting a call back until the morning. To my surprise, a few minutes later I got a phone call letting me know that the outage had been reported and if we needed anything like flashlights etc, to let them know - 10/10 on communication. Power came back on about an hour later! The property is just as described. The landscape is beautiful and very spacious for games and outdoor activities. Rooms are big and beds are very comfortable! In the kitchen there were plenty of utensils and kitchen supplies in stock so that was a plus as well. All in all it was a 1000/10 stay. We had a great time. Our group was very happy and I even had a few people ask for the link to get it booked so if you’re thinking about it just book it! You won’t regret it :)
