Excellent weekend

A very nice place and excellent location. Easy to get around the city to do the things we came to Memphis to see and do. A little bit of late nite traffic /road noise, but it was easy to counter that. Host was top notch.

Check-in was easy. You do have to park in back,then walk around front and enter. Then you can open the back door to bring all your stuff in through the kitchen. It is an older home with wood floors, but I like that it has a lot of charm. Need a little better instructions on how to access the wi-fi, that is my only issue. Everything else was amazing.
Kitchen was great with washer/dryer.
Bathroom had great shower, recommend another shelf for toiletry kit maybe.
Bed was comfortable and plenty of closet space.
Couch sits a little too low for me, but still comfortable.

Cute, large duplex, perfect for short or long stay

We enjoyed staying here and ended up extending our stay for the unit next door. The host was very communicative and quick to answer any questions or resolve any issues that came up. The only issue we encountered was that the air conditioning had some issues staying cool in the daytime but the temps outside were reaching record highs during our stay so that’s not out of the norm. Pictures were totally accurate and we also liked that there was parking space in the back as well as a driveway on each side. We felt safe the entire time during our stay and never had any issues with the guests Nextdoor, all in all it was a very nice quiet stay for a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Access Denied

I don't know what the inside was like because I was not able to get entry. The code I was given did not work on the key lockbox. I was in a hurry to get to an event, so was not able to get in touch with the host. I booked a hotel. I've asked for a refund of the cost of labor and materials of turning over the lodging between guests, but no luck. Le sigh.

My guest always gets the door code 24 hours before they arrive at my place. Even then if you didn’t get it you could just call me. I was not aware of anything until I asked this guest around what time he was going to check out. You could just call me and I will surely make sure to get you in the property. After that point, all payments are processed by VRBO. This is something that is not in my control.

Disappointed from minute 1

Started with host giving me the wrong address and having me show up to an occupied place trying to open their door. Thankfully they were understanding but it could have been bad if they weren't. The place was not especially clean and we ran out of toilet paper night 2 with no extra anywhere in the house. We had 3 people staying at the place but their were only 2 towels so we had to share.
