Nestled in the pines, it sits on 700 feet of shoreline with a swimming beach & sandbar. Enjoy your LAKEFRONT cabins, the lodge, water toys, games, firepit, & more.

This rental booking comes with 8 cabins, plus house and large communal gather space. Each cabin boasts a perfect lakeview & a newly remodeled interior with full kitchen.

Cabin 1 Sleeps 6 adults + 2 children: 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, 2 twins) and 2 twin beds in the living room.

Cabin 2: Sleeps 6 adults + 2 small children: 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, twin bunk) and 2 junior mattresses in living room

Cabin 3: Sleeps 6 adults, plus toddler / infants. 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, 2 twins). This cabin has a bathtub / shower combo.

Cabin 4: 4 adults + 1 child. 2 bedrooms (queen, full, and a daybed couch).

Cabin 5: Sleeps 6 adults + 2 small children: 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, twin bunk) and 2 junior mattresses in living room

Cabin 6: Sleeps 6 adults + 2 children. 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, twin bunk) and futon in living room.

Cabin 7: Sleeps 6 adults + 2 children. 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, twin bunk) and 2 junior twins in the living room

Cabin 8: Sleeps 6 adults + 2 children. 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, twin bunk) and futon in living room.

House: Sleeps 12-16 with 4 bedrooms and a loft. Bedroom one: king bed with ensuite bathroom, Bedroom 2: King bedroom with jack and jill bathroom attached. Bedroom 3: Queen bed, Bedroom 4: King bed and full-size bed. The loft has 3 full-size beds.

Relax and have fun! The resort is just 10 miles from Walker and provides easy access to the Paul Bunyan Trail system and the Chippewa National Forest.

Lake Kabekona is an amazing 2200 acre, spring-fed lake. As one of the healthiest lakes in the state, Kabekona provides breath-taking views from shore or the boat. The loons LOVE this lake! Among the most popular fishes in this lake are yellow perch, bass, northern pike, and walleye. It is a quiet lake with plenty of space for all of your water activities.

Neighborhood Description: This lakefront cabin (#1) is a part of Kona Kona Resort at the Historic Point of Pines, which is located on Lake Kabekona, a 2200 acre lake that is spring fed near LaPorte Minnesota. We are 10 miles from main street in Walker, MN (home of Leech Lake) and just 30 minutes from Bemidji. In just a 20 minute drive, explore Itasca State Park- source of the Mississippi River Headwaters. Enjoy easy access to the Paul Bunyan State Forest, trails and the Chippewa National Forest.

Getting Around: You will need a car to get around. Once you arrive, enjoy the lake! You might also want to check out the trails- excellent biking and hiking! There’s plenty of fun to explore in Walker!
