Family wedding weekend

Beautiful scenery and views. The house is comfortable with good amenities. We appreciated having the hot tub and enough dishes and linens for the number of people. We had a relaxing stay.

Relaxing Stay with Beautiful Scenery

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in Frenchburg! It was modern, spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The views were absolutely breathtaking—peaceful and picture-perfect. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the comforts of home.

Family reunion at Firefly Cottage

The property and the clifftop view were fabulous. The various bedrooms give private spaces to all 5 of the family units. Two of rooms with multiple bunks served the larger families well. Only drawback was rather long drive to places in the gorge.

Cabin in the woods (waaay in the woods)

The property was SPECTULAR. The view was GRAND. plenty of room but very comfortable. Easy drive over to Natural Bridge. Highly recomended

Extended family getaway

Beautiful house, beautiful property, great communication with property owner. The house has everything you need. The only downside is that the house is an hour drive to Natural Bridge State Park or Red River Gorge. We did not mind the drive but other family members did not like how far the house was from hiking trails.

Annual Family Vacation

5 Stars is not enough! Everything about Firefly was GREAT! The view, the cottage itself--the decor was beautiful...We were planning on doing most meals at the cottage. I've never stayed in a cabin/cottage where the kitchen was so well stocked to prepare meals. The host was so helpful and gracious in making sure my family had an amazing experience...and we did!

What a great house - very stylish and loved all the cute light fixtures. Kitchen needs a few more utensils and pans and a Keurig coffee maker would have been nice. Everything new and clean and what a view - spectacular

Wife’s 50th birthday celebration

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfect inside and out. We had 17 people in our group and we had plenty of space. Very clean and had everything we needed. Spacious decks outside provided perfect setting. Brace yourself for the view outback, every guest we had were completely blown away! We will be back.

Beautiful views

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Amazing private outdoor area, breathtaking views off all three decks and hot tub perfect for star gazing at night, swings/hammocks on the bottom deck were a hit with our crew, also has a wood burning fire pit with surrounding benches. The inside of the home was very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, kitchen was well stocked for cooking, large table inside and on the main deck, washer and dryer on main floor and lower level, beds were comfortable, several fun games for young children and adults. Extremely responsive and helpful host, would love to stay here again.

Breathtaking view

The entire booking process and communication with the owner was perfect. The home was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There are plenty of plates, bowls, coffee mugs, glasses and silverware available. In addition, there are pots, pans, cutlery and bowls. I would bring extra paper towels and toiletries (bar soap and tp) depending on the size of your group. Would also recommend getting everything you need prior to check in. It is a drive to stores. The view is absolutely amazing! The hot tub and three rope hammock chairs were awesome to have and so relaxing. There is plenty of outdoor seating. It was very hot when we were there, so we brought some fans so we could sit outside on the back deck all times of the day.

Amazing Property!!

Firefly Cottage was absolutely perfect for our family get-away. Its beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals and views from the back decks are spectacular. We especially enjoyed the hammock swings on the bottom deck, perfect place to have our morning coffee! The cottage is about 45 minutes from Red River Gorge activities, and the drive there goes right through Daniel Boone National Forest and the Nada Tunnel, which is a site to see in and of itself. Jill was so kind and responsive throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!
