Enjoy wooded serenity while being minutes away from vibrant city life. Top floor (3rd floor) private suite right next to Rock Creek Park on a quiet, tree-lined street. Comfortable, spacious, light-filled bedroom, full bath. Easy access to public transportation, nightlife, and amenities. No pets allowed.
Free parking on street, however parking is limited to 2 hours. if your stay is longer, I'll issue you free permit (you need to let me know car tag, color, car brand 24 hours before your arrival ). Digital entry door lock for hassle free key check in.
Note: Your rental space is on top floor 3rd floor and there are 28 stairs!!!

Street parking was easily accessible. The property was well maintained. You will be climbing lots of stairs from the street and to the 3rd floor. Lovely host.

I actually ended up staying in the basement unit for this listing, which was significantly better, it had its own exit so I did not have to enter/exit through owner's front door. It was an extra 10/day, and I highly recommend it. Very large and clean unit, nice hot shower (just a bit dark in the toilet and shower area, only issue), nice neighborhood, 1 mile to Columbia Heights metro, next to Rock Creek Park for hiking

Pleasant stay

The location was perfect for us. The rooms on the third floor were quiet and private very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Martin, the host, was courteous and genuinely helpful. Adding another reading light so there is one for each side of the bed would be an improvement for the room.

Wooded comfort

Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in the shower and a beautiful setting on the edge of Rock Creek Park. The suite was clean and well-maintained. Martin was helpful and most pleasant.

Quiet little get away

Great place to escape the crazy of the city. Definitely need to consider transportation. Nearest metro is a 0.8 mi walk.

Nice quiet spot

Very grateful to find this gem after a last-minute cancellation of our previous booking. Comfortable bed, quiet location in a safe & chill neighborhood, with a pathway through the woods directly adjacent. Half a mile walk to some great spots like La Tejana and Marx Cafe. Third floor is private and exactly as pictured, you do walk through the open area of the first & second floors to get there, we couldn’t tell if anyone else was in the building when we were coming and going. Host was very accommodating and responsive to requests so don’t be afraid to ask!

Near Rock Creek Park

If you don't mind climbing stairs both outside to get to the house and several inside to reach your third floor bedroom and bathroom, this is a great location. I wish coffee had been made available at the house, but I don't mind walking and coffee was within a mile. Parking was great and the host was very responsive to questions and issues. I felt comfortable using a microwave in the kitchen a couple of times. The house is surrounded by trees and walking trails are across the street. The zoo secondary entrance is within a mile and easy to access on foot.
