The Space:
Experience the unique architectural features of one of the city's flagship historic buildings. Natural light pours into the open kitchen and living area through 12' windows and soaring 30' ceilings. Renovations preserved the original exposed brick walls, wood molding, and salvaged beam stairways.
Whiskey Row Lofts is listed on the National Historic Registry for it's Italian Renaissance Revival architecture, featuring a beautiful limestone façade, Corinthian columns, and well preserved interior. Home of the original Galt House, hosting famous guests such as Charles Dickens and Civil War generals, the building burned down in 1865 and was rebuilt in 1877 as the headquarters of the L&N Railroad, which became one of the most successful regional railways of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Placed right in the energetic heart of Whiskey Row, our spot offers the ultimate urban experience for those eager to dive into the excitement of downtown Louisville. This isn't your typical quiet getaway—expect vibrant nights and lively days amidst the city's top bourbon spots and bustling streets. Guest Access:
The apartment has a Yale smart lock keypad for self check-in with a code that is unique to your stay and expires after you check out for added security and peace of mind.
You'll use a digital callbox and keycard to access the building during your stay. At check-in, you'll enter the building using the call box before retrieving your key card from a lockbox inside.
All access codes are sent 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time.

Getting Around:
We're located at 140 W Washington St, in the heart of Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville!
For loading/unloading luggage or other items, you can park your car in front of the entrance or in the nearby loading zone with flashers on. Please don't block the garage entrances!
There is paid street parking on 1st St, but the easiest option for longer periods is the Yum! Center parking garage under the overpass at the corner of W Washington and 2nd St -- it's $25 for overnight parking, but sometimes has surge pricing during events. Unfortunately, there isn't any free parking nearby, except at the street meters overnight and on Sundays.

Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $20/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service.

We loved the uniqueness of this apartment! Plenty of space for everyone! The showers had hot water & strong flow- such a nice chamge from hotels! If we come back for tournaments, i will look to see if this is open again! Thanks Matt!

Large space, Phenomenal location
If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay for a few days in downtown Louisville, this is the place. Phenomenal location right off Main Street and 2nd Ave. Loft has tons of space and historic charm.
Only downsides are:
- space is designed for versatility, meaning if you use three bedrooms each door has a passcode to it. Kind of odd but not an issue
- outside noise. Not the quietest space, but if you’re staying on Main Street that’s to be expected.
- no designated parking. Plenty of lots nearby with daily parking around $30/day, and cheaper options available if you’re willing to walk 10-15 min
We used this space for an extended guys weekend with 5-6 guys, and it was ideal.

The loft was exactly what we were looking for. A quick getaway with plenty to do within walking distance. Matt was an outstanding host and extremely responsive. The place was clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend booking this loft.
