Welcome to Frogmore Cottage, located on the shoreline of Baw Beese Lake! Newly renovated and fully stocked, Frogmore is a clean, cozy, bright and airy, two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. Frogmore Cottage is just two miles from downtown Hillsdale, and three miles from Hillsdale College. Relax on the deck that overlooks Baw Beese Lake and enjoy the kayaks to explore the shoreline of the largest lake in Hillsdale County.

Frogmore Cottage is located in our quiet neighborhood on Baw Beese Lake. We adore our neighborhood and lake, and know you will, too! The bedrooms are stocked with fresh, cotton linens. The main bedroom has a brand new queen bed and the second bedroom has two, new twin beds, trundle style. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Hillsdale's very own Ad Astra "Hillsdale" coffee blend is stocked for your mornings on the deck. The bathroom is stocked with linens, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Enjoy the stunning sunrises with coffee on the porch, and enjoy the three kayaks and life vests for exploring the shoreline of Baw Beese Lake. We can't wait for you to experience this property for yourself!

Frogmore Cottage was absolutely the cutest! The decor and all the thoughtful touches made it feel so welcoming. We stayed over Thanksgiving and arrived Wednesday afternoon to find helpful starters waiting for us… water in the fridge, coffee, and basic condiments. Since everything was closed on Thursday and we were checking out Friday, we really appreciated having those essentials on hand when we arrived.We had a minor issue with the internet due to weather, but Stephanie responded immediately and was incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience: a beautiful spot and an amazing host. Highly recommend!

This property worked great for us and our specific needs while visiting Hillsdale. Having a spot for our boat in the back yard was perfect and the kids loved the fishing!

What a wonderful place! Super clean and fresh decor. And the location on the water was just what we were looking for, with lots of wildlife chatting away. The porch was my favorite- perfect for morning coffee and sitting outside to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. Stephanie was a breeze to work with- respectful of our space and also available if needed. Highly recommended!

Best cozy stay on the lake

Our Stay at Frogmore Cottage

This little cottage was perfect for our 3 day stay in Hillsdale during the Christmas holiday. It is so cute, pristine, and nicely decorated. Everything is top-notch and perfect! Stephanie is the perfect host and is readily available for questions/assistance. If you are coming to Hillsdale, I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage. You will not be disappointed!

Cozy, well appointed and peaceful stay

The Perfect View

We stayedm here for Hillsdale' Parent's Weekend Oct 2024, and could not have been more pleased with the cottage. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially the sunrise. The cottage has eveything you need, with high quality amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We look foward to staying again.

Charming Sweet Stay

I stayed here with my daughter during her Fall Break. I could not have asked for a better place. Stephanie was readily available to answer any questions and thought of every possible detail. The welcome cookies were delicious. We appreciated the coffee and the tea. I hope to be back soon.

Charming lakeside comfortable cottage

I enjoyed a week of hospitality in this sweet small two bedroom cottage on Baw Beese Lake. I had everything I needed to sleep, cook and relax well. Marvelous and considerate host. Recommend for a small family.

We had such a comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the kayaks, firepit, and outdoor deck. The clean and comfortable furnishings inside were also appreciated. The kitchen was well- stocked and had many extras that aren’t usually included in most places. We hope to be back someday. Thank you, Stephanie.

Amazing

When we drove into Baw Beese Lake we were, WOW this is amazing. Then we got to Frog Cottage, it was amazing right on a little canal to the lake. Super cozy, very lakey and so peaceful. Everything you could need and more. We will be back often.

Great place to relax while visiting.

What can I say, except everything was quiet, calm, relaxing, and perfect! I was in town for our 45th Class Reunion, so a friend and I stayed at The Frogmore, which was an ideal location - to The Hills of Baw Beese Lake, The Elk's Lodge, Downtown Hillsdale, Hillsdale College, and all our friends that also live on, or around, Baw Beese Lake. The cottage was welcoming, clean, had everything we needed, and truly the most comfortable mattresses, pillows and sheets that I have ever had in a rental. Stephanie made everything so convenient and easy. I will absolutely look for The Frogmore to stay at the next time I am in Hillsdale visiting.
