Baw Beese Lake cottage! Close to downtown and Hillsdale College!

Welcome to Frogmore Cottage, located on the shoreline of Baw Beese Lake! Newly renovated and fully stocked, Frogmore is a clean, cozy, bright and airy, two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. Frogmore Cottage is just two miles from downtown Hillsdale, and three miles from Hillsdale College. Relax on the deck that overlooks Baw Beese Lake and enjoy the kayaks to explore the shoreline of the largest lake in Hillsdale County.

Frogmore Cottage is located in our quiet neighborhood on Baw Beese Lake. We adore our neighborhood and lake, and know you will, too! The bedrooms are stocked with fresh, cotton linens. The main bedroom has a brand new queen bed and the second bedroom has two, new twin beds, trundle style. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Hillsdale's very own Ad Astra "Hillsdale" coffee blend is stocked for your mornings on the deck. The bathroom is stocked with linens, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Enjoy the stunning sunrises with coffee on the porch, and enjoy the three kayaks and life vests for exploring the shoreline of Baw Beese Lake. We can't wait for you to experience this property for yourself!

Host was very communicative and kind. Freshly baked cookies greeted us, and the home was clean, nicely decorated, with beautiful views of the lake. We hope to visit this location again.

** Returning guests **Our stay at this cottage was nothing short of exceptional. If you are looking for a peaceful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable getaway right on the water, this is the place to book! The cottage sits just steps away from a calm, beautiful lake, offering spectacular views right from the main living area and the back porch, as well as a small private dock. Check-in and check-out were smooth, seamless, and completely hassle-free. The kitchen area was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and appliances you need to cook meals. Stephanie has put thought into every aspect of the cottage, from top quality hand soap to the linens, and is easy to communicate with. She even leaves incredible handmade cookies for your arrival!

Cozy, well appointed and peaceful stay

Frogmore Cottage is a cozy, wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was well appointed and the host was generous with bathroom and kitchen supplies. A definite go-to for other visits!

Baw Beese Cottage

Loved staying at the cottage and the view from the deck was beautiful. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Our host was easy to work with and very helpful. Hillsdale is a wonderful small town.

Clean, cozy, convenient, lovely home

We LOVED the lakeside location and the home was very comfortable. We had all we needed to cook, converse, relax and enjoy our visit. I'd stay again. Many thoughtful touches by the host made it even more enjoyable!

Beautiful Quiet Cottage

This was such a a beautiful spot in Hillsdale to relax and soak in the summer. The location was great for our visit to Hillsdale College and Downtown Hillsdale. It was easy to find and in a great neighborhood to take a walk. Being right on the lake was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Charming lakeside comfortable cottage

I enjoyed a week of hospitality in this sweet small two bedroom cottage on Baw Beese Lake. I had everything I needed to sleep, cook and relax well. Marvelous and considerate host. Recommend for a small family.

The Perfect View

We stayedm here for Hillsdale' Parent's Weekend Oct 2024, and could not have been more pleased with the cottage. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially the sunrise. The cottage has eveything you need, with high quality amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We look foward to staying again.
