Come relax and create great memories in this newly painted and updated home in Seacrest Beach. While at "Beach Bummin' " you will enjoy all the comforts of home. Located only 1 block from the giant Seacrest pool, this house offers a wide variety of amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, gas grill, a dining area which can easily accommodate your entire group, wireless internet service, DVD players, cable, beach bikes, board games, books, jigsaw puzzles, beach chairs and beach towels. For your convenience there is a main floor laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Beach Bummin' has recently been, redecorated and linens have been upgraded. A true bonus to Beach Bummin are the outdoor living areas. On the porch you can relax in the Adirondack chairs. While on the patio your group can have meals and enjoy the private landscaped yard. Enjoy the quiet and the views from the balcony. This house also comes with 4 complimentary bicycles for week long reservations that will be dropped off and picked up at the end of your stay.

Room/Bed Description:
First Master Suite - king bed with a private bathroom with walk in shower, walk-in closet, and french doors leading out to the balcony.

Second Master Suite - queen bed, day bed, private bathroom, walk-in closet, and french doors leading out to the balcony.

Kids Bunk Area - child size beds recessed in the second floor hallway.

First Floor Bedroom - queen bed, connected to bathroom and walk-in closet.

Don't worry about bringing more than one or two cars there is ample parking.

Community Amenities: You are within walking distance of the pristine white sand beaches and beautiful sunsets. For your convenience there's also a complementary shuttle that will pick you up by the house to take you to the beach access. The 12,000 sq. ft. resort like pool is a short block from the house. You can walk to Rosemary Beach, Alyce Beach and The Village of South Walton and to where you can enjoy great restaurants, shopping, strolling for an ice cream or coffee, rent bikes, even a day spa. Not to mention the BEAUTIFUL BEACH, BEACH WILD LIFE and the NOT TO BE MISSED SUNRISES AND SUNSETS!!!!! Be sure to make time to explore all that the area has to offer.

Loved this property! Have been to the area multiple times & this place was perfect for a week on 30A. Great kitchen with all the utensils for cooking meals. Beds were cozy & private baths attached to all rooms (plus patio access too). Had extra bunks in hallway for small kids! Was super cute! Loved the games, puzzles, bikes & beach chairs too. Really felt like a home. Thank you!

Location!

The house is conveniently located at walking distance from the Community Pool, close to the beach access and there is a tram service if you are not able to walk! There is a nature trail and a park close by if you want to keep yourself active.

Great area and house

Clean and great location to main pool. Shuttle to beach right outside your door. 4 free bikes went a long way with our kids. Gas grill with gas a great help. Beach chairs, umbrellas a very nice add so you do not have to rent at beach. In all a great place and location

Girls weekend getaway

The property was fantastic! If you’re like me and you use recent reviews to pick a place, keep reading!! The listing was as described. My group of 6 especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor seating as we did a lot of cooking. We also appreciated how sound proof the house was. Some girls liked to get up early but the sounds of them walking around or starting coffee could not be heard by the girls sleeping upstairs. We appreciated how clean everything was, the starter amenities (bring or buy more TP!! Only 1 roll per bathroom. Note this is mentioned in the checkin instruction email as well).and the beach towels. There were lots of games books and beach chairs/toys too. The only thing we wish was more clear was the registration when arriving. You must go to the community pool and check in with the leasing office. There’s a form that can be filled out ahead of time or on your phone by scanning a QR code. Once that’s done, you get your wristbands which are needed for the pool or shuttle service. Make sure your leave the wristbands at the property when you check out! You also need a parking tag if you have a car, otherwise you’re at risk of a ticket or tow!! This was not mentioned in the check in email by the host and feed back was given to include it for future guests. Overall, this hiccup did not negatively impact our trip and we would highly recommend the property and hosts. We’d happily stay again!

Seacrest Beach Vacation

The Good, Bad & Ugly from our vacation to Seacrest Beach and our stay at Beach Bummin'... GOOD - House is in a great location with a trolley stop just outside the door, just a few minutes’ walk to area attractions, use of 4 bikes and patio area was nice with table, chairs and grill. BAD - Communication from host was not very good. Several texts during our stay (see below) with responses delayed or not at all. Check-in instructions were very limited and did not mention how to obtain parking passes, wristbands for pool, or combination for bikes. The carpet upstairs is worn, beds were just so-so, washer/dryer were old, and beach towels were thin from overuse. There was no broom or mop and the cordless vacuum just “moved dirt around” instead of picking it up. UGLY - The house was not clean. Food items were seen under the furniture in the living room after our arrival. Shared this with the host and a cleaning crew was sent back in to clean again and when we arrived back at the house…all of it still there. The dishwasher did not work, had left over food and mold inside. Host said they would send maintenance, but we never saw anyone, host never contacted me again about the dishwasher, and it never worked our entire stay. We have spent many vacations in the Destin, Panama City, 30A area over the past 30 years and the accommodations have always been above par. While we will return to 30A for future vacations, Beach Bummin’ will not be on our list of places to stay.

Lovely place to stay but don't count of getting to stay for the entire time

I absolutely loved staying at this location. The home was everything I had hoped. Getting to the location where the parking permit & wrist bracelet were to be picked up was confusing as the office was tucked away in the pool area, but once I found it- the process was quick. I also was supposed to have a bike dropped off and never got one. I ended up not needing it so it wasn't a big deal. My only complaint was the cleaning lady on the day of departure. I was staying at the property by myself and had already packed my car early in the morning so I could enjoy my breakfast and relax before departing. The cleaning lady showed up early and aggressively knocked on the door demanding access to the home so she could clean. It wasn't even 10am yet. I tried to tell her I was the only one staying at the house and I already packed my vehicle. I felt so uncomfortable that she had been parked outside the house watching for me. She made me feel so uncomfortable and frazzled that I left behind my food in the fridge that I was going to take with me. Very rude and disrespectful. Despite the text you get from mgmt asking you to send them a text if anything wasn't satisfactory so they can "make it right," they dismissed my message regarding the situation and simply responded with, "Safe Travels." Talk about poor business etiquette. So, if you stay here, be prepared to not be allowed to stay for the length of time they advertise.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great experience renting here! The hallway bunk beds were perfect for our 6yr and 4yr old. (There are folding doors around the bunks to provide some privacy and block out noise/lighting). The 4 rental bikes provided were high quality (better than some we’ve gotten through rentals before). The neighborhood pool is awesome and quite large. I recommend going to Inlet Beach and not the closer Seacrest Beach (too crowded there). Everything was clean and as shown in pictures. Kitchen well stocked for cooking at home. Would recommend this home and stay again.

Wonderful retreat and awesome communication

We loved our week at Seacrest Beach. The house was perfect for our getaway with my wife, me, our college-age daughters, and their grandma. Sandy did a great job of communicating with us about our stay and the amenities. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Beach Bummin to anyone.

Lots of fun during Spring Break 2021!

Beautiful home, lots of space and a wonderful owner who made sure we were happy with the property and amenities. Bikes were provided which was a bonus! The shuttle to the beach was so easy to use and the pool is a short walk from the home. Overall it was a great spring break week for our family!

Great host, location and property

We enjoyed our week away, as the location and property were great. Close to the pool, beach, restaurants, etc. and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The host was fantastic and she focused on ensuring we had what we needed. We will be back again!

Relaxing and Nice Neighborhood

Great neighborhood for biking. Close to restaurants and shops. Owner was amazing and helpful. Only downside is far from beach and since its such a large neighborhood it was overcrowded. But public beach is close by and not crowded at all, just have to drive to it is the downside. Closeness to beach is one of our top priorities so only reason to give location a 4/5 but if its not yours then this is perfect. Overall great rental.

Perfect Beach Community Rental

Our group of 8 (2 families with 4 kids ages 9-12) had an amazing time. The house was plenty big for us. It was clean, beds comfy, and kitchen well appointed. We loved all extras available like 4 bikes, umbrellas n chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. Sandy the owner was so helpful and easy to communicate and quick to respond to all questions and concerns. The only issue we had was that the propane tank was empty when we were about to grill and that made for a hangry group waiting to get new tank. Wished this was checked by housekeeping beforehand. Other than that everything was excellent! On side note we ended up renting extra bikes for everyone and it was so fun as we biked around to coffee shops, shopping, dinner, etc.... and my 9 yr old was actually choosing to ride around neighborhood instead of playing on iPad. I’d say that was a WIN. Thanks Sandy for some great memories.

Beautiful House

We had a great time. The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation and Sandy was very nice and accomodating. The pool is fantastic and a short walk from the house. I would recommend going to the public beach (inlet beach) instead to the private beach right across the street. The private beach in that area is really crowded but the public beach was great (5 min drive/parking/bathrooms/lifeguard).

Enjoyable Stay.

We were very happy with our stay in this house. The owner, Sandy, was very helpful and made sure we were setup for a pleasant stay. The house is well equipped for most tasks. We cooked in the kitchen and BBQ'd outside on the gas grill with all utensils supplied. We plan to rent this house again in the Summer, instead of the off-season.

Love This House and Area

This is our 3rd stay at Beach Bummin' and each trip has been fantastic! This trip was a quick Labor Day vacation and we had a great time with 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. The house is well equipped and Sandy is great to work with. Love the close location to the pool and the outdoor patio area. The house has a couple of bikes and plenty of beach stuff needed for daily trips to the powdery beaches of the Emerald Coast. Lots of fun things to do in close by Alys Beach (Charlie's Do-nut Truck!), Rosemary Beach and Peddlers Pavilion. The shuttle is super convenient and easy. We will definitely be looking at Beach Bummin' for future vacations.

Plug and Play!

First, the house is true to its description and Sandy is reliable and easily reachible, if you need her (we didn't, but she made sure to check that everything was ok and we knew how to reach her). We (3 adults) travelled with five children between the ages of 6 and 11. What we liked the most about the house was that we could all fit comfortably withouth being stacked on top of each other. The adults could have an area of the house and the kids another. The bunkbeds found in the hallway between the upstairs rooms were a hit for the younger kids. Nevertheless, they are big anout to fit an average size 10 year old kid, and they are so much fun they will be happy to be stationed there. The second best feature was that, although it is a crowded area to vacation, the community is tightly and neatly arranged so the kids can safely walk to the pool or nearby (1 city block away) shops. Lastly, there is a major grocery store (Publix) only a 10 minute-drive away which makes grocery shopping easy and for the same price of at home (if not better).
