Quiet Cozy Private Retreat near Rickett's Glen State Park

“On the Rocks,” your home away from home. We are happy to share our newly built home with you and are sure you will find peace and tranquility surrounded by our 25 acres of woodlands. Rickett’s Glen State Park, with its beautiful waterfalls and Lake Jean are just a few miles away. Close proximity to PA State Game lands and trails. Very quiet retreat boasting 2 Queen bedrooms and a full bath, with kitchen and living room on the first floor and a loft master bedroom with a King bed and 1/2 bath with private deck. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Includes a variety of cookware, all cooking utensils, baking dishes, table service for 8, microwave and toaster oven and automatic coffee pot. The wrap-around deck with 4 rocking chairs is a perfect place to enjoy the scenery or hang out with loved ones. The home is equipped with a whole house generator in case of power outage.

Absolutely beautiful property in secluded location close to the falls. Our family had a wonderful time and would love to return again. Home is well stocked, full kitchen, and outside grill to cook. We enjoyed every minute of our time here inside and out!

A beautiful cabin located in a welcomed secluded location. The entire cabin was clean and well maintained and the furnishings very comfortable. The host was easy to work with and quick to respond to all communications. I would certainly consider renting again in the future.

My mom and I absolutely loved this place: the location, the solitude, the amenities, and the coziness of the house. All we needed to bring was our food and clothing; the house had everything else. It was wonderful to be able to cook and unwind in a serene setting while watching wildlife in the snow! The home was super clean and for those of you who need connectivity, the WiFi is really good. Hosts were exceptionally responsive and thought of everything to make the home ready and inviting for our stay.

Peaceful stay!

This was a wonderful property to stay at. It was clean. The host left snacks. It was very close to Ricketts Glens Falls, which was our main purpose for the trip.The property was surrounded by woods. It was wonderful to hear the bird singing and to see other wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay.

Camping trip

House was perfect, everything we needed. Enough towels, dishes, cookware for our short stay. We used the fire ring between rain showers and enjoyed to quietness. We definitely will be back.

Memorial day weekend

We were looking dor a cabin clost to Ricketts Glenn for my wife, two kids and spouses. We wanted a place close so we could hike and this cabin is perfect. The cabin is new with all the basics to make the weekend great. Well lit including the bathrooms. It was very clean and easy Entrance.Nice deck on two sides with plentiful parking.

Great Get Away

Nice, homey, modern cabin on a wooded lot. Stocked with everything you need to be comfortable. Nice wrap around deck to enjoy the outdoors. When we arrived the power was out due to storms the previous evening. But the generator had kicked in and kept everything up and running until the power was restored the next morning. Definitely can recommend this property.

Clean, new cabin!

Super clean, new cabin, responsive owners. Ricketts Glen not to be missed. Away from it all in Fact Please note no wifi or cell reception at property which is inconvenient when trying to plan activities or communicate with family enroute. Travelled to nearby Bloomsburg because Benton restaurants were understaffed unfortunately, but we enjoyed the drive/area. Thanks for sharing your property with at the little extras!
