The space
Rare opportunity to experience an authentic Gloucester vacation right on the harbor! Conveniently pull into the 2 provided parking spots and step up to your front deck overlooking the specular harborside. Upon entering the recently updated duplex you'll immediately be greeted by all the light and bright coastal colors and details.

On the first floor you'll find a newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen complete with stainless appliances and complementary coffee and tea. Head into a comfortable living room with pull-out sofa and large smart TV. The first floor also has a full bathroom which conveniently includes a washer and dryer. perfect. The first floor bedroom is furnished with its own smart TV and cozy bay window sitting area.

Head up the stairs and you'll find 2 more coastal style bedrooms with queen beds. This floor also boasts a large bathroom with double vanity, shower, and separate whirlpool tub. In the backyard you'll find a lovingly cared for lawn with gardens and private deck for al fresco dining & summer grilling.

Other things to note
• This is a duplex but you will have hour own fenced in backyard with private patio
• The home is very quiet but there is a busy road outside so parents should stay attentive of children when entering
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

The house is cozy and charming. We enjoyed the view and all of the windows! We spent a lot of time in the kitchen and played games at the dining room table. It was a very convenient location for getting to the marinas, lighthouse, beaches and restaurants. We recommend it!

all rooms and property were perfect to meet our needs. The only problems were the keyless entry to the front door. The code they provided did not work. We called them and they fixed the issue. Also, the smoke detector/alarm system went off unexpectedly. We had to remove the batteries from the smoke detectors to ensure we could get more sleep to quiet the alarm

Beautiful cottage like experience that overlooks the water across the street. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the front porch and watching the boats. There is a beautiful garden and cute patio in the back. Walking distance to a local coffee shop and it is a great home base for day trips and visits to the beaches and shopping.

The house was charming and quirky and sunny. It was immaculate. The appliances in the kitchen were top notch. Parking was tricky, but I tell you, everyone in Gloucester was so great about letting you have time to pull into small spaces--I think because the streets are tight and everyone understands that. Beds comfortable. Showers were less than upscale but did the job. Great washer and dryer. Adorable, charming backyard with beautiful perennials. We didn't have time to explore the artist colony of the neighborhood, but did enjoy coffee and wine out front looking at the harbor.

Lovely property is exactly as described and photographed. Family of 4 stayed for a couple of nights while enjoying the local beaches. Took the local bus to Good Harbor beach for an end of day jaunt (fun and free/no parking fee). We enjoyed the backyard and walkability to a couple of local restaurants, including the Lobster. Kitchen well attired; lots of storage. Feels like every foot of space has been used well. Would stay here again.

Windows, Windows, Windows! Great Harbor Views from almost every room.

Lovely, clean, bright & sunny accommodations with high end upgrades to kitchen and upstairs full bathroom. We also enjoyed the well-groomed backyard and garden with wrap around deck. The shed has beach gear and lawn games for your convenience and family fun. Windows galore throughout the home allowing for lots of natural light, garden & harbor views. We all had a great time here and enjoyed our stay in Gloucester.

Wonderful place

Went with 3 Women for a girls weekend. We had an amazing time. The house was perfect, spotless with all top end amenities. An adorable back yard and a little front porch to watch the harbor sunsets! Beds were super comfy, and enjoyed taking a jacuzzi bath!! Definitely want to return!

Our family stayed over Christmas. The house was a perfect size. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The location is perfect for walking along the waterfront. The location also provides easy access to stores and restaurants in Gloucester.

November Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable home. Everything was super convenient and easy. The home is updated and super clean. The beds were all very comfortable, (even the pull out sofa bed), and the view AMAZING. Great family memories were made at this terrific home.

Mother / Daughter trip

Very cute, comfortable cottage on the bay. Charming and clean amenities and furnishings. Beds were very comfortable. A bit far out from our site seeing. But routes easy enough to navigate. Off road parking was tight, and property was on Main St, so there was lots of traffic, but nothing to defer us from enjoying our stay. Definitely would recommend and stay again given the chance. This duplex cottage was more than satisfactory in every catogory. Everything you could need was there. Love this place!

Cottage feel, bright, clean, crisp decor, parking, well stocked, spacious, beautiful spa bathroom, adorable bedrooms, comfy beds, gardens out back, harbor out front, and views of both from the kitchen, easy drive to Salem, by far the favorite of all rentals we've ever stayed in, we will be back! Early September Visit

It was a beautiful location with a fantastic view of the water. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to Rockport and Halibut Point State Park. The accommodations were unique and eclectic. The location was ideal.

Lovely, Lovely Home

Well kept; clean and attractively decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchenhas just about every item you would require to fully cook if you so chose to do so. Appliances are up-to-date and clean. Rooms are bright and cheery. Location is central if you wish to head north or south to attractions. And, a very private backyard.

East Gloucester is a quiet seaside neighborhood with it's own little arts district called Rocky Neck right around the corner from this home. Here you'll find a few restaurants, art galleries, a local theatre and of course lots of waterfront activity!
