Bliss in Batavia near the Fox River

Beautifully renovated house with and open floor plan, gourmet fully stocked kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and smart tv's in all the bedrooms and of course quick reliable wifi for all to enjoy.

Home has large lot with amazing deck and 4 season room that also doubles as a separate work space as well as a smaller second workspace as . House also has a fully finished basement with 2 of the bedrooms, a full bathroom and a large theater room with a sectional sleeper sofa if more space is needed.

The space
Home is located on a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood and is only blocks away from a playground park for the kids to enjoy and walking distance to the Fox River and its 40+ miles of bike paths. Coming to St Charles or Geneva for a wedding or other reason, home is only a 10 minute drive from downtown of both locations

This was a perfect home for our extended family. It is in a safe neighborhood and close to a park. It has a huge backyard, which is fun for the kids. The house was very clean and had nice decor. The main level bedrooms share a jack and Jill bathroom. The house is much bigger than it appears from the outside. We had a great stay.

Beautiful house and great yard

Loved the house and cute decor. We travelled to attend a wedding at the revelry and this was perfect and close to the venue. Outside of house looks small but really has a lot of space inside with the finished basement area. We had 14 people and it worked well. The only thing I would note is that they did not have top sheets for the beds and we would have been short linens for the extra mattress but luckily we brought our own and extra linens so we were fine. They provided plenty of towels and washcloths. We would be happy to stay here again!

Beautiful Home - Excellent Use of Space

The home is located in a very safe neighborhood located blocks away from downtown Batavia and an easy drive into Geneva/St. Charles. I was able to communicate directly with the owner and he was wonderful to work with. The popcorn machine in the basement was a hit with my two daughters. The office space and standing desk made my workdays very comfortable. This is an amazing space and an amazing owner. Thank you!

Great Stay

We loved our stay and enjoyed the spacious home with plenty of room for 10 people. It was decorated very nicely and had everything that we needed. I would recommend this to anyone. The area was safe and in a nice neighborhood. The host was very communicative and great to deal with.

Great family-friendly house

My family and I enjoyed staying at the house while we were in town! The place was beautiful, very clean and plenty of space for us to enjoy. The house was close to downtown with a lot of local businesses to enjoy. Would highly recommend!

Christmas family stay

The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Communicated well with the host who was very responsive. As owners ourselves of rental property, it’s hard for things to be perfect. Things happen but it’s how they are handled, nothing that won’t happen at your own home. Thankful for generosity of host as I had to accommodate different relatives on different days.

House needs a deep cleaning

Positives: Location was great. In a safe neighborhood and right next to a park. Smart lock on the front door made check in easy. Host is responsive. Has infant pack n play and child high chair. Keurig that is stocked for coffee and tea lovers. Negatives: The house at first glance appears clean however the house (both interior and exterior) is overdue for a deep cleaning. The front porch is covered in cobwebs and the exterior light being on 24/7 (the switch is covered) only attracts even more bugs. While playing in the front yard we also found several colonies of ants all over the front porch. The interior continues to have cobwebs in almost every corner of each room. The floors appear clean but after walking in our socks for less than 1 hour, the bottoms were black.

Home away from home

Very cozy house, amazing family neighborhood. Yes we were about an hour away from Chicago but it was worth it. For the tranquility the house gave. Would recommend!

Family Gathering

This clean, beautifully decorated house was perfect for our family gathering. With its spacious kitchen and bedrooms and a separate space for the grandkids, there was plenty of room for everyone. The large outdoor space was great for grilling and yard games. Mark was a great host and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. We would defiantly stay again.

Our stay in Batavia was fine. The house was big enough for our family and had a great large outdoor space for us to play yard games and cookout. Mark was very quick to respond when needed. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and close to the park. Good for a quiet family stay.

Family Trip

The property is very nice, newly remodeled and beautifully decorated. Needs just a few practical items for the rooms in the basement, which I suggested to the owner but otherwise it was perfect for our trip back to visit family. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside on the nice back deck, but we got some rain while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully decorated home near the Fox River

Beautiful professionally decorated home. Stocked well with all the necessities. We stayed with our son, daughter and her husband and baby so we could be close to relatives for Christmas. Nice neighborhood close to walking/ running trails along the Fox River. Lots of space for family gather or spread out. Festive touches within the house added to our holiday experience. Host is very responsive and easy to reach. Beyond a five star stay!!!

Relaxing weekend

6 of us long-time girlfriends met up for shopping & dining in Geneva. This home was perfect for us. Everything was lovely - just as advertised. We really liked the location. We had a fun weekend using this wonderful home. Mark, our host, was super quick to respond to any question we had. I highly recommend this VRBO. The driveway even had room to fit our 6 cars. And we are already planning to come back next year.

Wonderful Home

The house is cute with an awesome kitchen, comfy beds and everything needed for a comfortable stay in a cute neighborhood which felt very safe. Close to a park for a little walk and easy to get to stores, coffee, etc. We would definitely return!

Home is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood only about 8 blocks away from the scenic Fox River. Location is also only about a 10 minute drive to either Geneva and/or St Charles with many dining venues, outdoor activities and other amenities for visitors to enjoy.

Perfect location to host a large family/families with sleeping area for at least 12 people and up to 14 with a foldable memory foam mattress that is kept on site.
