Calling this a cottage is miss leading. The room was adequate especially if traveling with a family. Honestly it smelled - especially the couch which is in desperate need of cleaning. The fridge was great. Kitchen ok. Could use a serving bowel, strainer, and 1 or 2 dish towels. The heater in the bathroom did not work. The electric fire place was a nice touch but I would not stay here again.

The property was as advertised. The location is fantastic for staying in the Lake Quinault area. The property has everything you need. Our only complaint was that it was not very clean, specifically the floors felt like they may have not been cleaned in a few weeks. Overall, great stay for the price.

Weekend in Olympic Forests

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the property to both the Olympic Park and Olympic Forest. The amenities were clean and well maintained. We will certainly be booking this property in the future.

Good location and comfortable place to stay

Our stay was very comfortable with a living room and full kitchen and two bedrooms. The only thing missing was a welcome mat to clean our hiking shoes after a day exploring rainforests and the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Very happy with our stay.

The property is listed as a cottage, but is actually a remodeled garage between rooms at a motel. I never realized when I was checking for lodging that there wasn’t a photo of the outside, I have included a photo. Actually the inside was as pictured on VRBO and was pretty acceptable. The bunk beds were not comfortable at all, especially for adults. The kitchen was clean and had good amounts of plates, bowls and silverware.

Outside of the property is a little misleading definitely wouldn't call it a cottage. Just a generic looking building converted to a small house. Inside is nice though, especially the kitchen. Great place for a small family to stay. Mostly clean but looked like it had been awhile since anyone had touched it. Few spiders buidlings webs in corners and the couch was a little dirty. But overall a good set up and space to relax after a long day.

This is out in the middle of no where. Long distance from any tourist sites. No restaurant. The cottage appears to be a converted garage large great room one window. No instructions for running TV. One plugin for counter with no electronics plug setup. One bedroom with decent bed. Second small room full of game machines and toys. Set of bunk beds with skinny mattress. Paid way too much for this room.

This is a very spacious accommodation. The kitchen is very well equipped. No paper towels or sponge are provided. Overall the space was tidy, but the floors could use a good cleaning. Our feet were very dirty if walking around barefoot.

Spacious accommodation right by Quinault Rainforest!

Overall, this was a good basecamp for our time hiking in the Quinault Rainforest. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to cook, and the space felt very spacious. The living room was very comfortable! It wasn't the cleanest - LOTS of pet hair on everything, floors were quite dirty, cobwebs in the corners, etc. - and it would have been nice to have had more blankets as it was quite chilly during our time there, but the heaters did help quite a bit. The main bed was comfortable, but the bunk bed mattresses are quite hard - a topper on them would be nice. Otherwise, decent place for what we needed!

Okay for the price

Was spacious and everything seemed new, however the cutting board had a clear snail slime trail on both sides, and I'm not sure how that would have happened, which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the things. Everything was great until I was chewed out by the property manager for requesting towels because I guess 3 towels for 4 people for 4 days is the standard and we're just supposed to hang and reuse them despite spending every day at the beach and coming back filthy and sandy. It was actually quite shocking. Won't stay again.

Okay for One Night

This is a converted warehouse space, not really a cottage. There are two rooms attached to the space with locked doors, used by management and housekeeping. There is no soundproofing between those rooms and the rental space. Upon entering the unit we were met with a swarm of flies. We purchased fly swatters at the market next door and used them. The sheets, towels and surfaces appeared clean, but there were crumbs on the couch and a few other dirty spots. The bed was comfy and the space generally quiet except when the attached rooms were in use. Although the bed sat up high so you felt like you could fall off, and there wasn't enough space on either side for nightstands. An odd thing occurred which was a neighbor's dog with no collar came around and would not leave our dog alone. It wanted to play and would not stop. I had to take our dog in the car away from the property to do his business, and had to have someone distract and block the neighbor dog just to get back inside the unit. Supposedly the front desk person (owner?) knew about this dog and wasn't doing anything about it. (She has her own dog on the property which wasn't bothersome.) On the plus side, the location is good for activities around Lake Quinault in an area with very few pet-friendly lodging options. We had stayed two nights. However, we will not stay here again.

We stayed at the property in a pinch because it was some of the only lodging in the area that accepted pets on short notice. The front desk was very polite, kind, and helpful. We checked in late and there as no issues doing so. I did notice when we arrived that the cleanliness of the cottage was not where I would personally expect it to be. For example, there were crumbs on the couch and food/drink spots on the coffee table from previous guests. In the kitchen there were also food remnants on the island, a dead fly on the floor, and slight mold growing in the crevice of the refrigerator door. There are cleaning products under the sink, however, so we did do some light cleaning ourselves. This property could use a deep clean, but was not terrible. The kitchen is outfitted with basic items, which is nice. The rooms are also well outfitted. The kids room has an arcade game and a foosball table. The cottage is also filled with games and apps on the TV already. The most off-putting thing about the property are the two weird rooms that have outside access as well as access into the cottage - but only from inside the rooms. They are locked from the inside so someone could theoretically get into the cottage from those rooms, but you cannot get into the rooms from inside the cottage (without a key). They do actively use these rooms (one of them is where the "no vacancy" sign is), as I assume they're storage. But them having direct access into the cottage is very weird.

The photos online did not tell the truth. The bedding was very dated, the bedrooms were very dark, a trailer park behind the building, NOT a cottage, but a shed turned to square space. The management did send a refund, but not the full amount. Only the amount he was paid from Verb.
