Modern mountain home, 5 Bedrooms 3.5 Baths. Mountain views in spacious living room with open floor plan. Perfect for family gatherings and long, cozy stays! Kitchen has granite counter tops and steel appliances. Tranquil master bedroom with private bath, blackout shades on first floor. Two roomy guestrooms with queen beds, balconies and full bath on the second floor. On the basement floor, two bunk-bed rooms perfect for children and friends--each sleeping 6--plus another full bath and game room with big screen tv, ping pong table, washer and dryer. Multiple outdoor decks with views of Angel Fire ski slopes and Eagles Nest Lake. Enjoy spotting elk, prairie dogs and other wildlife on this 3 acre property. Ski slopes, horseback riding, hiking, fly-fishing, golf and the Angel Fire Ski Resort are all short drives away! Easy day trips to Taos, Red River, Eagles Nest. Property has an automatic generator that can last for a week if needed. Ask about our military discount.

It was a great house and a great host. House was exactly what it looked like online and exactly what we wanted! We had a larger group and it fit us all very well. I would definitely recommend this place to any group that is staying in this area!

Big house, great location!

Plenty of bedrooms and good living space. 3.5 bathrooms made it a little challenging for everyone to shower, but we made it work in shifts! Excellent communication with the owner!

We so enjoyed our stay at this property! Everything was as listed in description. It was so peaceful and great views. We will certainly stay here again if we come back to this area.

Family Vacation

Our family of 17 stayed at the home in New Mexico for a Spring Break skiing trip. The accommodations were adequate; however, the listing said 24 could be accommodated and we didn’t see how that could happen. The rooms were much smaller than they appeared to be in the pictures and the bunk rooms had 2 sets of bunk beds per room instead of 3 as listed. The road to the house is a dirt road and we were concerned about getting stuck on several occasions but we all made it ok. The home is fairly secluded and has amazing views. It has very close proximity to the ski areas in Angel Fire. We found the prices for our inexperienced group of skiers to be a bit high so we opted to travel about an hour to another ski dc45f8dd-307e-4d9e-b204-9316fa8d79e4 area called Sipapu. Since most of the grandchildren quit very early in the day this proved to be a bettter choice for us to not spend so much on lift tickets and equipment. I contacted the owner regarding the wifi password and he responded promptly. We also contacted him at the end of our stay regarding some small maintenance issues that needed to be addressed and he let us know that he would be doing some repairs in the off season. We appreciated the opportunity to stay at this home.

Family Vacation

We had three families within our family who stayed at this property. There were 11 people total, 6 adults, 4 children under the age of 10, and one teen. :) The property is beautiful, clean, and has amazing views. The kids loved the basement game room. There are plenty of toys, linens, kitchen utensils and cook ware to make it a very comfortable stay. The proximity to the ski slope was awesome. Owner was very responsive. We would stay again!

Awesome family getaway place!

Awesome if you have a big group and want to put kids downstairs with their own living area or if you have some that are more into socializing upstairs without football games and movies and things! So this house can accommodate lots of people hanging together doing different things! The view is awesome. Huge grounds to play on. The owner went above and beyond what he had to for us- no joke! He’s a great guy. Our fam of 15 from babies to grandparents loved this place!

Misleading

The house was beautiful and very well kept. I think the amenities need to be changed because coming from Texas and it saying air conditioning and there wasn’t any is somewhat of a disappointment. We did have cool night nights and we opened all windows but during the day it was rather warm. I don’t think it sleeps as many as well but overall it turned out great and we all had a great time. Very nice house!!

exactly what we needed

this location is incredible. wide open views and so close to angel fire and eagle nest. this part of NM is stunning. the weather was wonderful and we were all so comfortable in this house. we did have one family member who has mobility issues and the only way into this house is up about 8 steps - so that's something to consider. but otherwise - it fit us perfectly!
