Uncommunicative Host Affects Stay

We were most disappointed about the lack of communication with the host. When we had trouble getting in (no getting-in directions had been sent), I reached out through the app that we were having trouble getting in - and literally never heard from her again. She had earlier sent a message with a phone number - but I can't call without being charged. We couldn't figure out how to operate the TV but it wasn't worth contacting her if she didn't even respond to the news that we couldn't enter the place! The place was fine, though smaller than it looks in the picture. A bed was added, so the TV is now in the kitchen, with no comfortable chair. (Though we couldn't operate the TV, so it was a moot point.) It would have been nice to have a roll of paper towels provided. The location was pretty good - on the water at the end of a street in a residential neighborhood but only 10-15 minutes from Galway. There were a few flies in the apartment that we couldn't get rid of, so perhaps a door was left open before we got there. The beds were fine and towels and washcloths were provided.
