We really loved this little spot in Medicine park. Annie and Braden were very good with communication. The weather was typical Oklahoma cold and windy but we still braved out (it’s very conveniently located). The only two suggestions would be an additional dish towel for the kitchen area… I might of missed this and more comfortable seating. The couch and chair were not great for lounging and talking. OTHERWISE all was wonderful! The kitchen bar area was laid out nicely, the beds were great and the shower / bathroom was a showpiece and had extra amenities. We are considering doing this as an annual girls retreat and would definitely come back to Acorn:-).

This home was everything and more!! First of all, it’s gorgeous and the view out back is so beautiful! By far the best experience we’ve had with traveling! The hosts were so gracious with water and snacks just in case!! Everything you’d need is there and they are very quick to respond! 10/10!!

Beautifully decorated & comfortable cottage. Highly recommend if you prefer a hippy, off the beaten path situation. We did not visit the restaurant or shops in medicine park but they looked quaint. The primary visit was for our daughter’s army graduation in fort sill.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful cottage. The host went above and beyond, helping me find places to eat and see in the area and even left us a happy anniversary card. Owners thought of everything you’d need for a stress free stay. Only downside is the location isn’t the closest and the hill makes the walk back a workout. We’ll definitely be back, one night wasn’t enough!

This was a wonderful cottage with a wonderful host. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and charming!! The shower was magnificent!!! If you're looking to stay in Medicine Park you should stay here.

We had an amazing stay at Acorn Cottage! Incredible clean, and the location was perfect for exploring Medicine Park. Annie was very responsive and helpful, providing us with great local recommendations. We were here for our son’s BCT graduation at Fort Sill. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Cottage

This is a wonderful cottage close to the activity, yet quiet and private. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. I have stayed here more than once, and I will definitely return. It's a short walk to the dam and lake. The location is perfect. Just as described.

Annual stay at Acorn Cottage - Exceptional as always!

This was my second stay at Acorn Cottage, and I’ve stayed in other rentals in Medicine Park before, but this is truly my home away from home. The cottage is just a short walk from town, offering a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. It’s impeccably clean and full of natural light. Annie is an incredible host—always accommodating and welcoming. We have an annual event in Medicine Park, and I've already reserved Acorn Cottage for 2026.

Our stay was amazing. The house was a great size super clean amazing walk in shower. We came to see our son graduate from the Army. It was only 10 minutes to base. This will be on out listof places to stay in the future.

Best VRBO stay ever!

Everything is first class in this cottage, right down to the toilet-paper holder. It felt like staying in a five-star hotel. There were even snacks and bottled water available. Great vew of Mount Scott, particularly at sunset. The house is conveniently located in the cute town of Medicine Park. We couldn't have been happier with our experience, and the nearby Wichita Mountains are magical.

Calming environment

Stayed at Acorn Cottage for 3 nights while in the area visiting family. The cottage was clean and inviting. It’s in a very quit neighborhood just up the hill The property was very easy to check in to and owners were very quick to respond to my comments or questions. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. Water and snacks were there in my arrival. I would definitely recommend this cottage and plan to stay again.

Beautiful getaway near Wichita Mountains

This property was really nice and cute! The entire place was well decorated, clean, and modern looking (especially the bathroom!). The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few good meals and everything from the AC to the TV was working without any issues. You can tell the owners take good care of this place which seems like a gem in this area. They were accommodating to a few of our requests as well with using the premise. Definition recommend for small groups and will be back again!

Perfect little place

Host was super helpful; gave info on things to do/nice establishments and food in area, very communicative, left snacks and waters and a personalized note. The vrbo itself was super nice - clean, updated, nice amenities/features, very cute. 10/10, would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Both properties were very clean, such subtle touches esthetically were very nice. We had water and munchies with a thank you letter. It was close enough to town to walk. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Absolutely Superb

I attended an Annual Motorcycle Group Reunion of sorts April 19-21 and booked Acorn (name of a rescue cat I was to find out) for the evenings of April 19 and 20. Check-in was at 3:00pm and I arrived moments after. The entry instructions were welcoming and precise - no issues. Upon entry, the first word to immediately come to mind was -Charming-. This is a word I never use, but was totally appropriate. Property is exactly as photos show. What cannot be seen is it is immaculate - the cleanest, most well cared for short term rental property I've ever enjoyed. The shower is a work of art, the beds have quality linens and are very comfortable. My buddy couldn't make it so I had a tremendous amount of room. There is plenty of room for two couples or perhaps a family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics as is the bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the level driveway as I have stayed at other properties in Medicine Park and parking can be difficult on a bike. I met the nicest relation to the owners - she kindly gave me the history of the properties name and we had a wonderful conversation. I plan on booking this same property for next year's Annual Taco Run...as soon as I get the dates, I'll sign it. Please hold me the spot as I was very, very pleased with this holiday - the property is Charming!!
