This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom house features stunning views of 347 acre all sport Barton Lake. Enjoy the panoramic view from inside the air conditioned home, from the massive patio with charcoal grill, or the large private yard with fire pit and tetherball. Kayaks and life vests are provided for you to get out on the water and explore the many inlets, connecting lakes and abundant wildlife. Home is located in a quiet, family friendly, residential neighborhood perfect for walks, fishing and swimming in the sandy bottom lake.
Located about 5 minutes from historic Vicksburg's walking district that boasts many unique restaurants, live music and shops for your entertainment. A short drive down Portage Road takes you to the AirZoo, bowling and activity center, escape room and so much more!

What a great little cottage! Very clean and nicely decorated. We needed something between Metro area and Chicago for Thanksgiving with family and this was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and perfect to prepare food and watch the game. Dining room table was perfect for dinner and games and the bathrooms were great! Adorable little cottage. Bedrooms are tiny but not an issue. The host was very responsive. Looks like it would be great outside in the summer. Highly recommend.

Vicksburg For the Fourth

Great house on Barton Lake in Vicksburg MI. House had everything we needed. Loved the kayaks and used them every day. Would recommend staying here to family and friends and hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Little Lake Barton Retreat!

What a blessing to stay at this little slice of heaven on Lake Barton. Spectacular sunrises, beautiful views and everything you could want in a place to retreat. The space is as described and the pictures are accurate. Our hosts were communicative and have curated an awesome experience for guests at their home. We don’t have kids, but the space is super kid friendly if the littles are with you - activities, books and games. Plenty of space to enjoy outdoors as well. We absolutely recommend staying and would come again! Thanks for having us!

Great time

This is our second year staying here and we will be back again. Love the location and how kid friendly the house is. We appreciated the labeled cupboards and light switches. Small touches go a long way. Very clean and host is easy to communicate with.

Family time

We enjoyed our stay. The bunk beds and toys were enjoyed by my grandsons. My daughters had a nice kayak ride and guys fished off the dock.We all enjoyed the sandy lake bottom and lily pad.We visited the Farmers Market, ice cream store, and pizza takeout. All were excellent suggestions from our host. It was a great space for our family and the lake view was beautiful.

Lovely little lake cottage

When we pulled up to the property, my 5 year old expressed disappointment but within 5 minutes he was saying ‘I don’t know what I was thinking! This place is fantastic!’ It really is lovely and thoughtfully designed, with everything you might need. The decor is simple, stylish, but fun (we loved the little shells in the splash back), and very comfortable. The lake had flooded recently so the dock and steps were submerged but it was still easy to swim. My children enjoyed jumping off the lily pad float, and there were plenty of life vests/ puddle jumpers for them to feel safe. The kids also loved the bunk beds and toys in the bunk room, and the sandbox on the patio. All in all, a lovely place for a lake break.

Perfect Family Getaway

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home and its location. We had such an amazing and relaxing family getaway, and there is no doubt that we will return to this lovely home and beautiful lake. Alanna was a wonderful host, and her home is immaculate. We are all still so happy from the time we all spent together making lifelong memories.

Summer getaway

We had a wonderful time at your lake house. The house was just as described. The lake is all sports lake but very quiet most time we had the lake to ourselves. The house had a good supply of cooking utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, and grilling equipment. We enjoyed the kayaking (although it would be nice if there was 4 kayaks not 2 or paddle boards) and kids enjoyed the lilypad. You can fish from the dock but the dock isn’t very long. This property faces east so no sunsets but you can spot stunning sunrises!🌅 The house is very nicely decorated the main bedrooms share a wall and the kids bedroom is in the walkout basement with second bathroom. There’s washing machine/dry combo and few pods included to do the laundry! All the towels (beach towels also) are included and there’s planty of hooks to organize them! The lake view from the deck is beautiful. Also living room has windows on 3 walls (amazing!). There were planty of board games and outside slide/sandbox that even our tweens explored. They enjoyed very much the tetherball game! Few things that could be improved are more Adirondack chairs around the fire-pit only 2 included (there were other old looking chairs that could be used) Few more outdoor game for older kids. The kids bathroom shower floor needs improvement. This looked like a cement floor and we were questioning the cleanness of it. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! We would come back in the future and recommend it to friends and family!

Lovely family cottage

The pictures don't do this family cottage justice! I was there with my elderly parents visiting family locally. It was the perfect size and setting for us to welcome my neices and cousins over for dinner to play board games and eat. The entrance is lovely with 3 small steps to the door for my parents. Then the two full size bedrooms are upstairs. While they're pretty tight quarters, they were perfect for us to ensure my parents didn't have far to walk to the bathroom at night etc. The bunkbedroom downstairs could have accommodated 4. It was thoughtfully decorated for kids! And had ample room in the lower bathroom for everyone's shower things and towels etc. I would've loved this place as a kid!! The open concept on the upstairs where you walk in is perfect for family-- a generous kitchen and living room with a dining room table to eat-- all with breathtaking views of the lake at all times of day. It ended up raining most of our stay so we didn't get to utilize the kayak and other outdoor items, but there was a charcoal grill and fire pit as well as outdoor dining table along with outdoor fun items. And regardless of the weather, it was a beautiful view even if of summer storms. This is truly a gem! Perfect for families of all sizes and ages.

Has a great time and enjoyed all of the upgrades. There was a little confusion as the amenities state a hot tub- but we didn’t see one.

Delightful stay

This was a perfect place for us to host a Thanksgiving meal for my in-laws. Very clean and comfortable. The open concert layout was perfect for the 6 of us to cook and watch football. Loved the fact that it had a table for us to enjoy our meal and play cards afterwards. The view across the lake was exceptional. Would enjoy coming back sometime to enjoy the lake as well.

Family Trip

We really enjoyed the property and being on the lake. Host was responsive and the place was super clean! Lake was nice and quiet which was really good with young children and then we were able to enjoy fishing right from the property!

Lake vacation

We had a very nice weekend. Everything was there and we didn’t need a thing. My grandsons enjoyed the lake and I enjoyed sitting out on deck. We would enjoy staying there again.

Great Stay for a little getaway by the lake

This property was great for what we needed. A short getaway where we could get some work done and enjoy the lake. The owners were also great to deal with and very responsive.

Loved it!

The lake house was beautiful, clean and my teens loved it. It was close to many things to do. We went kayaking, visited downtown Kalamazoo, went to the Airzoo and plenty of great restaurants. Really liked Ramona beach. Highly recommend this Vrbo for family or friends. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks!!
