Seven Springs, a cozy getaway sitting on 500 acres

The house sits on 500 acres with some wooded and non wooded areas. The surrounding area of the house exhibits pleasing landscaping. There are 4 bedrooms with 1 full size,2 queen beds, and 1 king. Enjoy the 360 degree deck that wraps the outside of the house. There are tables and chairs at each corner.

The house was a custom build built by a family member named Roger Dunevant in 1979. He was well known logger in the area. The house exhibits true timber wood beams inside that he milled himself. The big windows in the house face South to take advantage of the natural light throughout the day. We are happy to show off Rogers hard work and beautiful architecture.

Quiet, relaxing stay

This place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes to make cooking and eating there easy. The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the grounds, but the property is away from traffic noise and it's automatically restful upon arrival.

Place in the Woods

Very nice secluded property about 5 miles outside of Dillwyn. It was what we were looking for in a place to get away from the city.

Secluded and unique stay

We spent July 4 weekend at this lovely home. It had more than enough room for the four of us! Loved the new bathroom renovations, wonderful to have a full available kitchen and laundry as well. We took advantage of the 18 whole disc golf course twice and had a great time. The owner was easy to communicate with and check in and out went smoothly.

Vacation in the woods

The house in the woods was remote and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the kids. The deck was awesome for eating and talking. We have already booked for next spring.

Immaculate and cozy with ample space to retreat

Rustic charm mixed with modern upgrades made this house a pleasant surprise. Very well appointed, clean and spacious. So glad we found this one to gather extended family together for a wedding in nearby Cumberland . Communication was prompt, property fun to explore and more amenities than we needed. The host(s) thought of all the details. Beds are very comfortable and plenty of seating both indoors and out.

For the nature lover

We absolutely enjoyed this secluded, quiet cabin in the woods! Nature lover’s dream! Saw a badger, deer, turkey, squirrels and bunnies. The cabin has all the amenities! It was clean and spacious. We loved the architecture with a view of the trees from every room. The wrap-a-round deck offered a change of view whenever we wanted it. There are a lot of attractions within close proximity for touring. We loved our stay!

great place; peaceful!

wonderful stay except would be nice to have enough towels upstairs for 4 people and some flashlights for power outages. The oven could use an extra scrub and the micro wave as well. Wonderful to have put fruit and crackers on the counter for us! Thank you!

Wonderful property in a very private oasis. Owner extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We found the property to be very clean, well appointed and inviting. I have no hesitation in recommending this home for a stay. The two things a renters needs to be aware of are the showers are on the 2nd and basement floor levels. The first floor bathroom is just a very nice soaking tub. And, there are no blinds or curtains in the bedrooms. Be prepared to wake when the sun rises. However neither of these two issues should dissuade anyone from staying here. Plus, the Disc Golf course availability is an added plus!

When booking I selected I had two pets. Once I got to location owner called stated no dogs aloud. There is a camera at house. So we let our friends stay and we had to drive two hours back home.

Allowed* Sorry Atrium, I know that can be frustrating. Unfortunately, our policy clearly states we do not allow pets. Your reservation only says you would have 5 adults. This is either a VRBO issue or a simple reservation mistake. You did arrive early to the actual reservation time, the grill was left on and uncovered, and the downstairs bed frame was broken. Not a big deal but would have been nice if you had told us.

City Mice in Central VA

As we have for nearly 2 decades, I traveled with my 2 teenage sons to Virginia for an early Christmas. Often our accommodations are just okay, but this year, Seven Springs offered us the right home away from home. This is a true gift to me so we could all relax and welcome family from throughout VA to enjoy the quiet surrounds of this special property. The exterior holiday lights perfectly accentuated the spirit of the season. THANK YOU!

I'm originally from Richmond, VA. I am a property manager for my folks rental business located in the fan/museum district. My parents started their business over 50 years ago. I have a beautiful wife and three kids. I spend most of my time taking care of the properties and parenting our children. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and playing disc golf.

Part of the property has been in our family for over 150 years. Our roots run deep in Buckingham.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Feel free to make use of the property!!! There is roughly 4.5 miles of trails throughout. Feel free to hunt, hike, drive (4wd), ATV, mountain bike, and horseback ride any of the trail system.

If you plan to hunt, ATV, or horseback the trails, we just ask you sign a waiver form. Just ask for more information.

We the only short term rental with it's own private 18 Hole Disc Golf Course in Virginia. Check us out on UDisc. It's located 200 yards from the house. The course have variations of open holes, wooded, dog legs left and rights, and tons of elevation changes.
