We had a lovely time at the Dorrigo pepper bush retreat. Maria and her family were such generous and thoughtful hosts. The house is full of charm and style. Loved cozying up with a fire during a winter storm, cooking, bathing, and basking in the quiet. Despite the cold, we loved having the stunning Ebor Falls all to ourselves, saw many wallabies, and loved being so close to Dorrigo National Park when the sun came out the next day. Certainly worth the drive!

Back to Nature

Had a wonderful time at Bush Pepper Retreat surrounded by huge trees, colourful butterflies, flowering natives and many birds; a fantastic place for solitude and unwinding. Very well appointed cottage perfectly located between Dorrigo and some of the best National Parks in Australia. Will return as soon as I can!

A little bit of paradise

What a beautiful stay! Myself, partner and young daughter thoroughly enjoyed this little getaway. Equipped with everything you could need or want, Dorrigo Bush Pepper Retreat exceeded our expectations. The eggs and bubbles on arrival made us feel so welcome. Our little one also enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens. Highly recommend

Bush Pepper Perfection

Thank you❣️ We enjoyed our stay immensely- the beautiful cottage was just stunningly decked out with modern decor. Everything we could possibly need - and the outside baths are a must with the beautiful Milky Way swathing overhead .. just stunning. We had good weather most days we saw Eastern Greys, gorgeous wallabies (that grazed close by as we sipped tea sitting on the outside setting in the late afternoons), donkeys, goats, chooks and wide range of birds - just stunning - and a 20 min drive to Danger Falls daily was absolutely wonderful. Can’t recommend this retreat more highly. Thank you so much, Maria & Jeff❣️❣️🦋

A very relaxing stay; unique offering of bathing under the stars in bubbles and warm water. Little touches left by the host made the visit seamless and so enjoyable.

Just amazing!

Absolutely beauty of a retreat. We arrived late in the evening and we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a warm fire on a cold winters evening. The kids loved the space aswell. So quiet and peaceful! 10/10

Deervale delight

This is a great little place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. It has adequate amenities to self-cater, but only about 20 mins from town with lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner at local cafe's and the pub. Dorrigo town is an absolute gem and we highly recommend it as a place to visit. Having a bath under the trees is a lovely experience and we'll hopefully visit again.

Hilly retreat

This was a lovely get away bush retreat in the top of the great dividing range. We stayed 2 nights but to enjoy all that Coffs and surrounding towns have a 4-6 night stay would of been ideal. Super cozy with the fireplace on the outside bathtubs we’re something different to experience :)

Can’t wait to come back

Sadly we only had a short stay but we definitely intend to come back for a longer holiday. The property was lovely inside and out and was absolutely spotless. Maria was so helpful and welcoming & the breakfast pack was yummy.

Peaceful and tranquil

Maria was an excellent host, providing us with a bottle of wine as well as home grown produce to make a delicious omelette for breakfast. The location was serene. Or highlight was a hit bath outside in the light rain while looking up to the tall trees
