***Pets
We are delighted to welcome your furry friends! Dogs are always welcome at our property, and we hope you and your four-legged companions enjoy a wonderful stay.
Due to the cozy size of the Cabin, we can comfortably accommodate up to two small dogs. If you're planning to bring a larger dog, we kindly ask that you reach out for prior approval so we can ensure the space will work well for everyone.
Additionally, we humbly request that your furry friends stay off the furniture and beds to help us maintain the Cabin's charm and cleanliness for all guests.

***Supplies
The kitchen is fully equipped; stainless steel appliances (Refrigerator, Electric Stove w/Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher), 2 Coffee makers (Mr. Coffee for ground coffee and a Keurig for coffee pods), electric kettle, toaster, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Linens for each bed (Extras available if needed), 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on the guest list; Spacious closet on each bedroom for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and broom and dust pan, Internet and 2 propane grills.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher and Laundry Detergent and Dish Washing Soap.
Before heading up onto the Cabin, we suggest stopping by Walmart, Ingles or any of Ellijay's local (grocery) stores for food items, ice bags, beverages, any special condiments and firewood.

***The drive up the mountain to the Cabin.
The drive to "A Rustic Hideout" is certainly an exciting off-road experience! The final 3 miles up the mountain will take you on an adventurous scenic drive through typical mountain gravel / dirt roads with a few bumpy sections and steep climbs thrown in the mix. But don't worry - it's an easily doable drive with steady driving, preferably on low gear, as is the case with any mountain roads. Enjoy the views along the way and get ready for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in the mountains.

It is important to note that the road may require inclement weather precautions: A 4WD/AWD vehicle is highly recommended in case of heavy rains, snow, ice, or after dark (in case one has to make a stop along the way). Under normal road conditions, a vehicle with good ground clearance would be good enough. Steady driving on low-gear is always the key when driving on gravel roads, regardless of road conditions or vehicle type. We will provide turn-by-turn driving instructions for the final 3 miles, pointing out landmarks, bumpy sections, sharp bends e.t.c.
