Everything was very clean. Host was extremely communicative and attentive. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect for us to commute between Staten Island and South Jersey. It is a downstairs apartment so some noise from upstairs was expected, but was definitely kept to a respectful minimum.

Great time, stress-free stay

Theron was a great host to myself and my family at our recent visit to Elizabeth. The Underground Mills was like home away from home. I was surprised that even on July 4 with all the hustle and bustle outside + fireworks, the apartment was relatively sound-proof. our host was quick to respond to our questions and quite understanding too. We sure will be back next time we visit Elizabeth.

Great place to stay.

First, having a designated parking spot was GOLD. The host was amazing. They kept constant communication with us. The apartment was exactly as described. The neighborhood is not sketchy like a comment mentioned. We walked at night to different places and felt safe. It’s just a typical NYC neighborhood. People in the streets at night is very common in the NYC area. We drove to Elizabeth station, parked in the area and took the train into the city. Overall, we enjoyed the place and would book again!

We had a pleasant stay in Theron's house, me, my 3 children and my wife. Very nice apartment. Very well equipped in a residential area with all the services a family needs. I think we just found our home for our vacation in the New York area. We'll be back Theron for sure. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. See you soon my dear.

The property was extremely clean. The rooms were smaller than what we thought they would be from the pictures…but they were extremely clean. We didn’t realize this was a basement apartment…but it was extremely clean. We had an event in Jersey City and this property was very convenient. Our group of three composed of two different families and the two bedroom was just what was needed. Off street parking gave us one less thing to worry about. There is a mall in close proximity to the property that didn’t seem like a typical mall. It had something for everyone. For example, outside of the Coach store there was a stand-alone Coach coffee stand. But there was also Starbucks. The host was extremely responsive and timely. There was a crib in the bigger room. There is an iron and ironing board that is not listed among amenities.

Underground mills in Elizabeth

Our stay at Elizabeth was great! The host is very understandable and more flexible person! the cleanness of the room were very good but there are so many flies in the house! The house is a walk-out basement! The area is not a family friendly nebourhood and it is not safe to walk around on the street day or night because of the homeless and drug addicted people on the street! Airport is closer to the location as well as Uber service is very convenient to travel from the location!
