As soon as the gates open at The Courtyard House, you immediately feel like you are in your own private sanctuary. You are greeted in front by our gorgeous wild flower garden.

Our newly built equisite modern home has floor to ceiling sliding doors which open all the way throughout the entire home, giving you the most wonderful indoor / outdoor living experience.

We have 5 Bedrooms and 3 1/2 Bathrooms with a heavenly outdoor shower.

Our gorgeous private courtyard has a beautiful deck with a luxurious hot tub spa, lounge chair area, as well as a 10 person outdoor dining table, a fire pit area and our stunning outdoor shower...all with spectacular views of Mount Tamalpais (Mt Tam).

This home is a private piece of heaven on earth just 10 mins to breath taking hiking, biking, or kayaking, 25 mins to Muir Woods, 30 mins to Stinson Beach, 40 mins to wine country, 2 mins to Whole Foods, & 10 mins to the GG Bridge.

Everything was beautiful and perfect to drop in and immediately feel at home. The space is truly gorgeous, the landscaping is beautiful, the area is convenient. We were very close to trails for hiking/running, but also close enough for easy access to the highway. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use with everything labeled.

It was voted by my family as the best VRBO we have stayed at. Everything was immaculate. The photos don't do it justice. High ceilings, gorgeous accordion sliding windows. We were lucky with perfect weather and had the windows open and the kids playing in the yard. Outdoor shower was a huge hit!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home for a quick weekend retreat. There were 6 of us and the space was perfect for us to spread out among the well-appointed bedrooms, while also having lots of common spaces to hang out. Wende and Thomas are incredible hosts, highly communicative and eager to make sure all our needs were met. Upon arrival, there were baked goods awaiting us in the kitchen. YouTube videos showing us how to operate and find everything were excellent. At one point, Thomas came over to switch out the propane tank for the fire pit. The house is even more spectacular in person than in the photos. We were in the lap of luxury while also minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and highway 101. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. You’ll have a beautiful and memorable time!

What a wonderful home. Wende was so welcoming, responsive, and ensured our stay was comfortable. The home is very conveniently located and was a great hub for our Bay Area stay. Just off Hwy 101, yet you feel as though you are in your own private oasis while on the property. Very well appointed, plenty of room for our group of 8 to have our own space while at the same time having several areas to gather. Our favorite feature was the floor to ceiling sliding doors which gave the space an open air feel and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather. The kitchen had everything we needed to have a fun bbq and the muffins and croissants upon arrival were a nice touch. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers that kept up with our group of 8 easily. Bathrobes, slippers, cozy blankets, beach towels, and accessories like hairbands, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. made it unnecessary to go to the store for anything!The in home gym and hot tub were also fun perks.It really was home away from home, but also luxurious.We will definitely stay here again on our next trip back to the Bay Area. Thank you Wende!

The home is beautiful and everything, from the pots / pans to the jacuzzi and corn hole lawn game, is high quality and clean. Wende was very thoughtful thoughout our 1 week stay. The location is ideal with easy access to highway, a quaint downtown and very good restaurants. We went to Muir Woods, Japantown, CA Academy of Sciences, Asian Art Museum, Alcatraz and Silicon Valley.

Perfect oasis for a relaxing time bonding with coworkers

Wende’s house was a perfect spot for our small team of 6 to bond and plan for the year ahead. It’s rare that a listing exceeds expectations set by professional photography and descriptions. Wende’s house is one of those. I’d love to come back for future personal or work stays.

Wende is incredibly thoughtful and helpful and the home is beautiful. It's the perfect space for a long weekend or multi-week vacation. Beautiful indoor/outdoor space with hot tub, grill, outdoor and indoor fireplaces and worldclass kitchen. Would definitely come back!

Spacious Retreat in Mill Valley/Napa

Our stay was fantastic! The property is incredibly large and spacious, providing more than enough room for our group to spread out and feel comfortable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome gift of croissants and muffins, and thoughtful touches like slippers for all guests at the front door. The home itself was clean and polished, making us feel right at home. I did have a concern and an issue on our last night, but Wende was impressively prompt in resolving everything, which we greatly appreciated. One minor area for improvement: when booking the property in advance, I reached out through the booking platform to inform the owner about our group and ask for local chef recommendations. Unfortunately, I never received a response to my initial inquiry, which would have been helpful. However, the on-property management during our stay was excellent as stated prior. The location was perfect for our weekend getaway to Napa, offering both convenience and a peaceful retreat after our daily excursions. Our group, with friends from the UK, Japan, Tennessee, and California, thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. One of our friends did suggest adding a television in each bedroom, as they were feeling under the weather and would have preferred to relax in their room rather than convene in the main living space. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, and conveniently located home.

Paradise away from Home

Wende's home was an exceptional retreat for us while we did a remodel on our home in Marin. The convenience of the location was the best, and we felt as if we had been swept away to a destination thousands of miles away. Only regret was not utilizing the indoor as much as the outdoor. With a beautiful summer season we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful living rooms which are not to be missed again. I guess we will need to come back in the winter! Thank you for building an exceptional property where clearly no detail was spared!

A beautiful home in a great location

My extended family and I had a marvelous stay at this immaculate, private, and superbly maintained home. Bedrooms are of good size and well separated for privacy. The kitchen is magnificent and very well stocked with dishes, appliances, and even some staples. Large sliding glass windows can be opened to expand indoor living to the picturesque back yard. A fire pit, built-in grill, outdoor table with large canopy, hot tub, artificial turf yard, outdoor shower, and cornhole game equipment encourage outdoor leisure. The location is superb and the area is more compact than I imagined. We had easy access via car or Uber/Lyft to Sausalito, Mill Valley, and other nearby towns. Grocery stores and other retail are nearby. The Muir Woods is a short drive away and a must-see. Other highlights were the ferry ride from Sausalito to Fisherman's Wharf in SF and a drive north on Highway 1 to Stinson Beach and to Tomales Bay for oysters. We even saw whales breaching off the beach! The whole area is spectacularly beautiful. The very best thing about this house is the owners. Their care and attention to detail were obvious to me from the first minute inside. As an example, we had a smoke alarm start chirping due to a dead battery early on Saturday morning. We had no way to change it so I texted Wende. She had a maintenance crew there within the hour to replace it. Our other correspondence. was quick and very helpful. I highly recommend this house.

Oh What a Weekend!

Our daughter was married at Muir Woods and we wanted to all stay together throughout the wedding weekend in a well located place. The house was more spectacular than the photos. It was easy to find and central to the places we wanted to visit. The house was well equipped with things we needed...since we ate many meals there. Wende provided detailed instructions which helped with check-in, clean up and check out. She was responsive to questions. I appreciate Wende sharing this property with us for our special family time.

Incredible Modern Home

This is an incredible modern home that is even better in person. Everything is top of the line and the house was perfect for spending the day bbq’ing and hanging out with friends. It is very well maintained and clean. Its location in Mill Valley is great and convenient to other activities in Marin. The host was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful and Well Appointed Property

Property was just as described both in text and photos. Plenty of beds and space for our group of 8. Well maintained and they've thought of everything. With 3 chefs in our group the kitchen did not disappoint with everything from knives, pans, cutting boards, and small appliances to top of line refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwasher. Family meals are easy to prepare with plenty of room for all to gather round to eat. The owner was super responsive and kind with a few of our needs. Easy on/off to freeway so traveling north/ south is a breeze. Highly recommend this Property. If there were any recommendation for improvement I could make, and it is truly the only one I can think of, would suggest a rug or other soft furnishing in dining area to help muffle the sound a bit as the openness of the kitchen/ dining area with the beautiful large windows can be quite loud with a group of folks in there. There's a bedroom nearby and if that person wants to sleep while others awake, it does prove challenging. But that is the only suggestion I have to share. Truly a lovely property with very gracious hosts.

This home is a private piece of heaven on earth just 10 mins to breath taking hiking, biking, or kayaking, 25 mins to Muir Woods, 30 mins to Stinson Beach, 40 mins to wine country, 2 mins to Whole Foods, & 10 mins to the GG Bridge.

We absolutely love Mill Valley! It is the most charming town with it's giant redwood trees and many hiking and biking trails.

Our beautiful home is a couple of blocks away from Horse Hill, where owners horses roam free across a beautiful mountain...that all are allowed to hike up, but asked to not touch or feed the horses.

We also have a Whole Foods and a CVS a couple of blocks away.

Bring your family, friends or coworkers to this incredible place with lots of room for all of your travel need.
