The Space:

Walden’s Wonder is a single-level cabin with creative charm and layered outdoor spaces that make the most of its hillside perch. Designed for comfort and inspiration, it’s ideal for up to six guests seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Gorge.



Interior (all one level)

- Open-concept kitchen, dining table for four.

- Electric fireplace and TV for cozy evenings

- Two bedrooms both with king beds plus a pullout sleeper sofa in the living room (sleeps up to 6 guests)

- Two bathrooms (one en-suite, the other shared). Custom tile showers and stylish finishes throughout

- Local artwork and games for added warmth and personality

- Washer and dryer

- Upper deck with grill and outdoor dining area overlooking beautiful valley views

- Lower covered deck with bar seating, hanging swings, hot tub, outdoor projector and firepit

The Neighborhood:

Walden’s Wonder is centrally located off Glencarin Road, just minutes from Miguel’s Pizza, the Gorge Underground, and Natural Bridge State Park. Nestled about half a mile down a gravel road, this cabin offers peaceful seclusion with easy access to the area’s best trails, climbing, and dining.



Other Things to Note:

RRG Getaways supplies a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry powder, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.



Pets are not allowed at this cabin.

There is a standard drip coffee maker, we will provide filters but guests will need to provide their own coffee.

There is a charcoal grill and fire pit, guests are asked to provide their own firewood, charcoal and lighter fluid if intending to use these amenities.

A starter amount of shampoo and body soap are provided.

This cabin is very secluded and located down a well maintained gravel road. 2wd, low clearance vehicles won’t have an issue getting to this cabin.

This cabin utilizes filtered city water.

Cabins location is ideal for all the activities, restaurants and hikes that the Gorge has to offer. Located just one minute from Appalachian Rose Farm/Greenhouse Wedding Venue. 5 min to The Gorge Underground kayaking, 7 min to the RRG Zipline, 5-15 min to most restaurants and hiking trailheads.
